This museum is more of a factory tour than a museum. It is all in Japanese but you can download it in English too and enough of the signs are in English so you can figure it out. (Amusingly the tour guide continued to give his tour in Japanese even though the entire group only spoke English.) There is a short film (an advertisement), a VR and a 4D ride which were fun. And then tastings -- 2 full glasses per person (soft drinks too) and gifts of a can of beer and a drinking glass.

Book in advance, not mant places available. Really great tour, it was in Japanese, but I could follow it inthd little booklet they gave us. And it was really enjoyable!

I've recently become addicted to visiting beer factories, and this year I visited the Sapporo Beer Hokkaido Factory, Kirin Beer Yokohama Factory, and then the Asahi Beer Suita Factory. I've been to the Asahi Beer Suita Factory when it was free to visit, but this is the first time I've been since it was renovated and the price became 1,000 yen. The tasting after the tour was also interesting, with its extra cold foam art, but even more interesting were the projection mapping, VR, and GO RIDE that were included in the tour. In particular, the VR and GO RIDE were the most interesting. In the VR called "SUPER DRY 318 THE DIVE," you drop from above the factory into a fermentation tank and experience the inside of the fermentation tank from the perspective of yeast. In the "SUPER DRY GO RIDE," you experience the filling process from the perspective of a person standing on top of a Super Dry can, moving along the conveyor at high speed while feeling the vibrations and getting splashed with water. The tour of this brewery was different from other breweries in that there were a lot of children taking part, which felt a bit odd, but it was more like an amusement park, so I understood. It was the most fun brewery tour I've ever had.

2022年4月[ｱｻﾋﾋﾞｰﾙﾐｭｰｼﾞｱﾑ]がｵｰﾌﾟﾝし 2023年1月のﾘﾆｭｰｱﾙ・ｵｰﾌﾟﾝ後 訪問しました。工場見学した印象として 全体的にｽﾏｰﾄ感があり、目玉の《GO RIDE》は座席ｽﾀｲﾙで 振動・風・ﾐｽﾄを体感出来るようになっています。試飲は 種々のﾒﾆｭｰから2種類選択出来、試飲ﾒﾆｭｰ（添付 写真参照）の中から ﾍﾟﾛｰﾆ ﾅｽﾄﾛｱｽﾞｰﾛとSUPER DRY EXTRA COLD BEER 泡ｱｰﾄを楽しみました。 特に 泡ｱｰﾄを持つﾋﾞｰﾙを飲むのは初めての体験だったので 非常に印象に残りました（添付 写真参照）。 以前は 3種類だったのにと感じるかも知れませんが ツアｰ中のｸｲｽﾞでも出題されますが 厚生労働省が推奨する 節度ある適度な飲酒量を考慮したものかも知れません。

Fantastic tour! Excellent value for money. Highly recommended. Lovely staff. Despite there not being loads of English to read and the tour was in Japanese it was a fab informative tour including seeing the working factory, a VR experience, a 4D ride, 2 pints EACH and a free beer glass! For less than £12! Well worth the effort of going (more so than noodle factory!)

We had a bit of a mess up in the beginning. The website says to ring in advance if you would like to be apart of the English speaking tour so we did and booked for 12pm the next day. When we got there to start the tour there was no booking for us and there wasn’t even a tour at 12pm. Luckily they put us on the 1pm tour so we went and got some lunch while we waited. We downloaded an app on our phones and listened to the tour on there. However the guide was also really good and added some English in there for us too which I thought was great. My partner loves asahi beer so he really enjoyed seeing how the production all worked and the tastings at the end were fantastic.

12月に友人と訪れました。JR吹田駅から徒歩10分くらいのところにあります。ビールの製造工程等を見学後に3種類のビールを試飲することができます。予約制です。ビール好きの方にお勧めのイベントです。

Hey does anyone know if it’s worth to just go visit the factory to eat or drink only take a few photos without booking. Unfortunately I’m not in the area during the tour dates but still would love to check it out.

If you visit without having booked a tour you will be able to visit only the gift shop and the restaurant. The grounds and the factory are only accessible on the guided tour. That being said, if you are in the area, it is still a nice place to stop for lunch.

You have to call in advance and make a reservation for a tour. They have English-speaking representatives that can take your call. We used Google Hangouts to make the overseas call. Not sure if that is available where you are, but you might check in to it.
As far as English-speaking tours, I don't think they have those. Our tour guide spoke Japanese throughout the tour. We were given an audio guide in English to use on the tour, but they only gave us one guide with one headphone and there were two of us so it wasn't a great situation. If you have pocket wifi, be sure to bring your own phone and headphones because you can download the audio guide to your phone and listen to it that way.

The first one stars at 10am and runs every hour. Reservations are recommended. You could ask your hotel to help you make a call or else, reserve online via their website (only in Japanese language). What I did was to google translate the terms to roughly know what info they need. Does not vary too far from your name, Time, number of pax and general info. TripAdvisor does not allow me to paste the link here but you can google Asahi Breweries Suita reservation.

Hi there,
I tried copying their reservations webpage here. But Tripadvisor not letting me.
Google "asahi brewery tour" and the first link should be the reservations link to their brewery.
They have several locations which you can tour. I don't see an email where you can write to them. But if you call them, they would definitely be able to answer your questions. Their English is pretty good as their breweries attract a lot of foreigners.

Yes, they do supply an English audio guide that has a very reasonable explanation. And definitely not boring! We booked before leaving Australia so it may depend on the season whether a last minute visit is available. Well worth the visit.
