I would like to say for £9 each and what they have here you would be better going to your local park more enjoyable and more to see in mine. They say it dog friendly but dog bins are buckets You have to question if they are ready for guests Very disappointing.

What a surprise this was so interesting, we had a lovely walk around the garden. It really is a pity about the condition of the house but it is obvious that it would take a lot of money to renovate. The 'cafe' was a disappointment just 2 cakes and drinks though the carrot cake was delicious.
You don't have to book now just turn up and if you do book on line you don't need the a code.
The garden is only open on Sundays and Mondays unless it is the school holidays.

We absolutely love Enys. Beautiful, tranquil gardens. The walled garden and stump forest are our favorite areas. The gardens have a cared for but not over manicured feel. The bluebells are stunning but the gardens are lovely without these.
We feel Enys is really missing a trick with it's tea room and a lack of a little play area for children. The tea room is a window hatch providing tea and basic filtered coffee - a bit behind in what people expect when visiting gardens these days especially when a cafe attracts a good number of additional customers with money to spend. Having a small wooden climbing frame and swing area would be a minimal cost and also pull in a lot of the local mums - who again always love a good coffee to help support the gardens.

Visited the Craft Fair, but mainly went to see the Blue bells. It was easy to find, the parking was well organised, we booked on line so we were on the list! Lovely people on the gate, had tea and a scone at the Tea area which I can agree could do with a bit more planing if it rains there isn't any shelter, but hey does it matter? We had a lovely walk round it was simple and lovely 😍 we will be back ❤️

Lovely gardens and the blue bells are breath taking

However I have to agree with Dan , the review two down , and the last review , some money should be spent on improving the visitor experience, by opening up the cafe and providing a nice sitting area for dining ,
Also the house could do with a little TLC , as Dan says can’t think were the money is going as the entrance fee is now £10 per person , when the website says £8 ! , and I counted over hundred cars on my visit
The rental properties must be bringing in a great deal of money too
So please try and provide a little more for the visitors please,

Bluebells beautiful as ever...six years since our last visit.
Disappointeding too late I remembered the tea room is not a room, but a walled garden....I had thought some of the area would now be covered...but no.
I stood in the rain eating the scrumptious carrot cake while my friends squeezed under a small shed roof. Not even enough single chairs for us to move and to all be seated.Others stood in an alcove, other people just turned away.
Such a missed opportunity for more to sample the delightful refreshments.

The " port -a-loo" still has its pride of place next to the clock tower.... to feature in all pictures!

Visited 7 years ago and was looking forward to see how the garden renovation was progressing - answer it's not. Once obviously grand gardens remain shabby & dilapidated. What has been developed are some luxury apartments that are apparently rented together with a HUGE block of 9 new double height garages that are so clearly are marked for a change of use (to more rental properties?)
The cafe area has not changed or been improved - in fact no new building work aimed at visitors at all and the main house looks untouched and derelict. The estate makes use of volunteers to help with any gardening efforts and clearly has substantial income from visitors..I counted 100 cars in car park (£8 per person) Where does all the money go? Hints on website that if 'visitor income' doesnt improve it will have to be closed - so then an even better opportunity for residential development. Its perhaps not a coincidence that the estate manager appears to be also employed by Savilles estate agency.
Another grand estate being gutted by playing the planning system with a (thin) veneer of environmental respectability

What a gem! We stumbled across this place as it is nearly next door to our accommodation - it wasn’t on the visit Cornwall website or anything like that, so expectations weren’t high. However, with an afternoon free we decided to pop in and check it out.

So glad we did, what a beautiful estate, with amazing gardens. We’re so jealous that there’s nothing like this near us. A fraction of the price of the near-by Trelessick gardens, but offers no less. The informality of the estate and the scale of the gardens combined to give a glimpse of what they are trying to achieve here. Little hidden nooks for visitors to find and a near absence of roped off areas made it more intimate and engaging. We had our 3 year old and she really enjoyed the dragon egg trail which kept us amused as well adding a focus for her as we walked around.

Looking forward to coming back in the future to see if they manage to open up the house. This place has so much potential!

Went this morning to do the Drago trail with two ten yr olds and it was just right. Not too crowded or manicured, allowing the boys to feel the ‘wild’…….but some beautiful Spring shrubs and flowers along the trail to enjoy. The eggs were so unusual and creative that you could really get into the mood and enjoy the whole experience. Well done Enys, and I will def become a member.

We visited on Easter Sunday to get out of the house whilst lunch was being cooked. We’d signed up for the dragon hunt at £18 for a family, but really just wanted a stomp with the kids. However we couldn’t have been more delighted when the 9 and 10 year old were immediately engaged at the threat of rogue dragons who could only be placated by a song (or a small child) We followed the map and found the well hidden eggs. Finally getting all the letters and cracking the code. Perfect for their age group and so well put together. Grandma and I sauntered behind marvelling at the flora and fauna and then, at the end, we drank lovely coffee and shared a crepe before returning to the kiosk for the chocolate egg prize.
Enys has a charm that is lost on some similar properties, a hidden gem that I hope remains quietly popular and continues to thrive.
