I had already been talking to them before arriving on the island they informed me of what I could do in my stay and after telizing everything they recommended I feel that I lived in full the island, Māuruuru, I want to thank Vicente, Duck and I had another guide with a local name that was difficult for me to memorize

Great day tour with the essential tourist hotspots
We were picked up at our accommodation and returned
We should have been advised to take the bathing suits. The Anakena beach is fantastic.
The tour itinerary could have been described in more detail, and some other hotspots could have been covered at noon.
However, the agencies want to sell more half-day tours.

Both days were very good. The Moai statues are truly amazing & I certainly learned a lot..! Aku Aku Tourismo is a family owned local Hanna Roa business on Rapa Nui & I personally prefer knowing my money stays local and does not go to huge tourist touring companies like Viator or Get My Guide.

Originally, I booked only the full-day tour, but the Aku Aku was really good so I reserved the half-day tour as well for the next day.
Maureen from the reception is really friendly.
She also was faithful to my requests.
Vicente is a nice tour guide, friendly, and easy to talk.
People from Aku Aku are great and flexible. Also, I could meet wonderful friends through their tours.

Don't use this company for private tours. They only care about your money and couldn't care less about the fact that their guide was on drugs. He started the day 50 minutes late and from there things got worse. He kept forgetting where we were going, grabbing at me, repeating what little he said. He refused to speak English on an English tour, and at the end of the day took me to the wrong hotel and insisted he was right. I ended up walking 3 km to the right one. Aku Aku could not care less about this and not even an apology.

My husband and I did the 7 explorers tour and the hotu matua route tour with them. Both tours highly recommended, our guide was Tomas, the information and explanations he gave us were excellent. Both tours were in Spanish and English. The landscapes of the island and the Rapa Nui culture are beautiful. Recommended agency, excellent service.

Excellent tourism agency. They guided us before the trip and answered all our questions.
We took three tours and rented them a car.

Tomas and Vicente were excellent tour guides. Very enjoyable and rich Rapanui culture described by them during the various tour sites. Thank you for your expertise.

I’m sorry to have to leave a review such as this one, but this was the worst tour experience I’ve had in three months of travel in South America and quite possibly of all time.
To start from the beginning: while I was trying to book the tours, Aku Aku responded sporadically, but after I paid the deposit they stopped responding entirely until the very last minute before I was due to travel. I almost called my bank to reverse the transaction because I thought I had been scammed.
I booked all three tours, unfortunately, so I can give a comprehensive overview. All the tours started late and ended early: the 3 hour tour for example started half an hour late and ended half an hour early, effectively making it a 2 hour tour. The “whole day” tour started and ended with nearly an hour chopped off either end.
As for the tours themselves, I had Tomas on day one and Jaime on days two and three. Tomas was reasonably friendly, but the moment we reached each site he literally hit the ground running. He would leave the group far behind and sit at the next stop and use his phone as if he was trying to avoid us. If Tomas was hard to approach however, Jaime was literally impossible. From the moment he met us, he refused to talk to us and wouldn’t even introduce himself. He looked like he hated every moment of being there, and kept giving one word answers (if any) and snapping at us. To say he was unfriendly would be to put it mildly.
Finally, I’m still giving my review two stars since *technically* I did cover all the stops. Not everyone in the group was so lucky - one entire family with a young kid was left behind at a stop on day two (the guide said he didn’t want to wait and they could find their own taxi if they wanted to catch up with us.)

Muy buena agencia de turismo el personal excepcional mente agradables todos .nuestro guia tomas un acierto 100% conformes quedamos ...una experiencia perfecta y nos sentimos acogidas ...por lo general los guías andan siempre apurados da la sensación que no les gusta su trabajo..pero en este caso no fue así...se nota que tomas disfruta compartiendo su conocimiento...quedamos felices y agradecidas !!!
