Basically, we only treat passengers as luggage, so we don't mind if the driver only takes a break in SA and doesn't let them drop off.
I use the expressway bus because it is the only one available, but the published itinerary has never been followed.
If you can choose another company, I don't think you should use it here.

My bus got cancelled a mere 30 minutes before the designated time, and I was not even given a reason. I was already waiting at the bus station when I got the email. Ended up just taking the Shinkansen instead due to non responsive customer service. Would not recommend to anyone.

We booked the Willer Express Fuji hike. The team was great and well organized in itself. However, our group of 40 people was very large and mixed. Because of all the beginners we were super slow and for more experienced hikers it was very exhausting because we often had to wait forever in the cold. I would recommend offering separate tours for Beginners and intermediates in the future. On the whole, the tour was great and the Cabin at 3400 m very cozy. The views were fantastic, especially when we were above the clouds. Only on the summit everything was unfortunately foggy, but anyway, as long as it arrived at 3776 m! Super cool are on the wooden sticks that you can have stamped at each station. We picked up a small one and chose only the best stamps.

After a year spent traveling around Asia this is the worst night bus I've ever taken, very uncomfortable and very small seats.

When I booked a bus with Willer that didn't allow me to reserve a seat, no matter how early I booked, I was assigned to an empty seat on the day, and if I booked for two people, I was often separated from my seat or placed in the front seat. I became a premium member because I was told I could get a discount, so I booked a few times with Willer, but I was always booked in a strange seat, so I even called two days before departure to explain the situation. I was told that they couldn't give me a seat in advance, and on the day of the trip, I was booked in a seat separated from my seat in 1D and 2D. Even though there were many empty seats when I booked, the seating arrangement seemed malicious. No matter how many member points I get, I will never book a bus with no reserved seating with Willer again, and I don't recommend it. By the way, when I book with another company, I get the impression that they are booked with a little more consideration, even if I can't reserve a seat. I quit my membership.

3/2 (Sat) 5:15am, Ikebukuro West Exit, bound for Narita Airport
I didn't make a reservation (although the website says you can board without a reservation), so when I went to the bus stop at Ikebukuro West Exit, there was a sign saying that it wasn't here, and it was in front of the Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre, a little further away.
It was good that I had a little extra time, but shouldn't they state on their website that the bus stop change is not here?
Is it not possible that people who are going to the airport might not be able to get on the bus because they can't make it, and some people might miss their flight?
I was told that I could board without a reservation, so I lined up in the non-reserved line. There were two other people in line with me, and the driver told me, "It's full, so only two people can board," so I told him, "Other people were in line first, so I'm going by train, so it's fine."
After that, one of the people in line was a Chinese person, and the driver refused, saying, "I can't do it because I don't understand Japanese," and the driver said, "This is really troublesome. You can't do it unless you can communicate with them. I can't understand English either."
In the end, the Chinese person was adamant that "You can't get on, it's impossible," but the other person in line and I were told that we could get on the bus.
I was confused, but the driver asked me, "Do you have a reservation?" and when I answered, "I don't have a reservation," he said, "That's really bothering me."
The website said that you can get on the bus even if you don't have a reservation...
The bus time was approaching and the driver had to handle it alone, so I understand why he was nervous, but his response was too rough. His treatment of foreigners was so careless that it was shocking.
The Chinese person was desperately trying to express his intentions to the driver with gestures, words, and iPhone. The Chinese person kept apologizing, saying that he was not at fault, but the driver did not listen to what the Chinese person had to say at all, and the driver just kept saying, "No! Train!"
Unable to bear it any longer, I and another person tried to help the Chinese person using a translator on our iPhones, but the driver continued to refuse the Chinese person, and we were confused.
After that, a Chinese person forced his way onto the bus (the driver kept telling them not to, and to get off), and the three people who were waiting in line somehow managed to get on the bus, but there were a few empty seats on the bus that was said to be full. (It was a direct ride from Ikebukuro West Exit to Narita Airport, so no one got on along the way.)
The driver's attitude was too rude, what the driver said didn't match the actual number of seats on the bus, he didn't treat the customer as a customer, his language was terrible, the way he treated foreigners, and the change in the bus boarding gate wasn't listed on the website. It was really bad in every way, so I never want to use it again.

Dumb foreigners eating, talking loudly, slamming on their laptop keyboards etc made the WHOLE bus trip horrible take at your own risk!

There was an outlet (not USB type), but even after an hour, my phone still wasn't charging.
The seat next to me didn't work either.
By the way, this was flight WN5606.
I boarded on 10/25.
I got on because there was an outlet, but... it was pointless.

I was part of a climbing group for the 4th & 5th September 2023. We had very professional Japanese climbing guides (with fluent English). They ensured our safety and allowed us to scale the mountain at a comfortable pace. They always briefed us on what to expect ahead of time, and we were well prepared. Even though we had to climb most of the mountain in a rainstorm, we were safe and well equipped. The mountain huts were quite cozy (however, definitely bring eye masks and earplugs lol).
Every member of the group successfully reached the summit, and we had the chance to see an amazing sunrise over the clouds. I'd recommend this tour group for any travellers. I travelled solo and didn't feel out of place at all.

Highly recommend climbing Mt Fuji with Willer. The guides are extremely kind and knowledgeable about Mt Fuji and other areas of Japan. The lodging at the 8th station was great and the views of Fuji and The surrounding area were incredible.

Hi there, for this Mt fuji tour (2d1n) is it available throughout the climbing season period? Or only selected date such as Mon - Fri / Weekend?

A little late but it might help others. If you just search for willer express English you will get to their side. There is is actually really easy to buy a 3,5 or 7 day pass (best part is, they don't need to be consecutive) and as soon as you bought it the search engine will online show buses that are valid with this pass. All major cities are covered, we used it for Tokyo, Osaka, Hiroshima and Kyoto.

Hola Ramiro, estoy yendo a japon en junio y estoy en el dilema si comprar el jr pass de 7 dias, de 14 dias o ahora que lei tu comentario ya no se si comprarlo.-
yo voy a ir hacer tokio - kyoto - hiroshima - mijayima- kyoto - Kanazawa - Tokyo.. se podra hacer todo es con willer?
