We drove all the way up/out there from Katoomba only to find the road into it was closed. Continued further on into Anvil Rock lookout, which itself was quite speccy.

This would be my favoutite of the 3 lookouts along this short stretch of road.
The "Pulpit" is a nice foreground to a commanding view over the valley.

This is a little off the beaten path - and has a lot fewer visitors than other lookouts. However it was my favorite as it was one of the most spectacular due to the feeling of being so exposed. Im pretty unfit so found the stairs down/back up a little more toward the medium rather than the signposted easy grade - but it is quite a short walk in and definitely worthwhile. You can also walk round the cliffs - however i didnt do this. Very windy out on the lookouts so hold onto your valuables. The gravel road in was in good condition for 2wd as of oct 2019.

This lookout involves a few minutes descent from the parking area and rewards visitors with a great view. The wind can really pick up during the descent, so hold on tightly to hats and cameras!

9月の風が冷たく寒い日に行ったので非常に寒かった。手袋、ダウンなどの防寒着が必要でした。ツアーでも寄らない時もあるそうなので寄れたらラッキー。ガイドブックで紹介されないそうなので人はあまり居ないです。

Upon reaching the parking area, the walk towards the lookout is 400m walk. It’s descending so be prepared to walk upwards on return. It was very quiet and we were the only couple there after another couple passed us on our way there. Upon reaching the first lookout where the stone sign of the lookout is placed, you can almost a panaromic view of the mountains. It was windy and being a 60kg woman I had problem staying firmly on the ground 😄. I had wanted to descend to the final lookout place but the wind was making it difficult. So I abandoned the plan. But it was a great nevertheless

Wonderful view and worth the walk (about 8km round trip) from Govetts Leap if you don't drive straight to the lookout.

if you are in the Park already, make the stop. It smells good (like eucalyptus) and the view is the closest you can get to rock climbing.

Short walks rewarded by wonderful views of majestic mountain scenery. The pathways may look a little daunting at first, but are safe and well worth the effort in the end.

This is a do-not-miss viewpoint in my opinion. My husband and I went late in the day and saw very few people there. The solitude and silence were a welcome treat after Scenic World the day before.
We walked down the stairs to each of the lookouts. For those with a fear of heights, this could be intimidating, but the stairs and handrails are very sturdy.
The panoramic views are indescribable. We could hear the sound of Bridal Veil falls across the valley and see it through our binoculars.
Awe-inspiring!

May I know if the trail is well marked from Govetts Leap to Pulpit Rock and is there a lot of inclines?

I wouldn't say it is "well marked", but it isn't too difficult to navigate. The first 1km has quite a bit of incline and is a bit tough.
