It's not a temple, please avoid

Who even think it's a temple? From the parking to ticket counters & the so-called temple visit, you can feel it's a place to mint money. In every inch of the premises you will find their own advertisement & glorifying their VIP visitors.

Waste of time & money by coming to this place. If you can, please avoid this place. You will not find peace or bhakti here.

Money minting tecniques in the name of godly service

Fake information center , informs 1.5 km but it is 7-8 kms

Very good experience. Very long walk from the start. Well maintained gardens and temples. Temple structure is very good and captivating. There are souvenir shops after the temple visit is done. Male devotees have to go with bare upper body if they want to do sewa. There are different kinds of tickets starting from Rs 100 for different kind of sewas. Overall a good experience.

Golden temple worth a visit

It is a beautiful temple. The temple complex is large. Along with the main Narayani goddess, the complex has Ganesha and Lord Venkateshwara temples as well.
Tips for travellers-
1. Preferable to buy the 250/- or 500/- ticket for faster and longer Darshan
2. There is evening lighting. Preferable to go around 5pm.

Sri Puram know as a place of peace is a true spiritual oasis. Designed and envisioned by Sri Narayani Amma SriPuram is home to multiple beautiful temples. As you want the star path and listen to vedic chants you are transformed. Sri Puram is home to Ganesha, Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi Narayani. What a bessing to spend a day in this beautiful oasis.

4-5 KMs from Vellore, this is SriPuram Lakshmi Narayani Temple aka Golden Temple. As the name suggests the main temple is of gold however the main deity which is 70+ kg of solid gold is in another small temple which you visit when you exit from main temple. Entire campus is huge and built in star shape. You need to trace this entire star on foot to reach the main temple. Based on weekend or occasions expect heavy crowd here and to avoid long wait in queue buy 250Rs. special darshan tickets before you enter (just opoosite to parking there is a counter). After parking you need to deposit your phones and camera as they are strictly not allowed inside the campus. Deposit your shoes as well and enter the STAR. Entire pathway in star is very comfortable, you can walk easily and there is ample space for sitting, drinking water, washrooms are at regular distances. For specially ables there is a special entry where they can skip this entire path and enter directly. Main temple is built over a water body and if you have taken special darshan they allow you to sit for 5 minute in front of the main deity. Coming out of the main temple you get a small temple where 70KG solid gold idol is there which you can do abhishekam for 100Rs. (Gents need to go top less here so keep this in mind before paying). On the path way there are couple of temples like Ganesh temple and all which you can visit. There are many shops you can visit along the path. On exit there are food shops and a food court run by temple itself (closes at 3pm for lunch). Those like me who could not make it on time for the lunch, drive 5 km ahead and reach vellore and you can get whatever you want. Parking space in temple is not very huge, but I saw most folks coming in buses and all so car park was okiesh. Overall very peaceful and nice place. Worth one day long drive trip from Bangalore. Temple visit takes around 1 hour (depending on the crowd).

It is divine temple with 70 kg gold used . The campus is very big and you need to follow the path to complete the darshan. However, it is long queue before darshan to complete. You need to pay entry fees with different rates as per your choice.

A very beautiful temple made up of gold which is spread over 100 acres and a track where you need to walk for 1.5 hours. It is surrounded by jungle. Lakshmi Statue is made up of 70Kg gold. I am not sure why no one is talking about this temple?
Please note that mobile and camera are not allowed in this temple because of which we could not capture photos inside the premises.

Temple comes on the another side of vellore .5 kilometres away from the old bus stand .For the entry you have to Pay 100 which is totally worth it when you finish your visit.More then 1700 kg gold is used to give fierce look to temple .Photography is completely prohibited inside .But according to me in such temple you have to visit without cellphone so you can understand the real definition and help you to push towards the God .Temple corridor is so large you have to walk atleast 30 minutes to reach the main temple .In vellore this temple is a must visit temple .

Lacks facilities for senior citizens

Too much to walk along the Star shaped corridor to reach main deity. Too tiring for senior citizens like me. Please install two moving platform from beginning of Q to main deity and from main deity to Exit gate or mobile/Chappal counters.
