Brilliant afternoon out on the boat with captain John and special thanks to Nan, our host, who was great and really looked after us. Snorkelling, paddle boarding and John sailed us back pausing for an incredible sunset.
Chris was really responsive and sorted us out with everything we needed.
The boat was lovely, the sea was warm and the drinks were cold. Highly recommend.

Very simple organisation with Chris who was patient in answering my questions and arranging payment via a payment link. On the day of the trip rain was expected so the waters were a bit choppy but we were immediately put at east with with Captain Ton, Ya and India! The team were friendly and attentive. We did the marine park tour, which included a luxury speedboat that to my teens delight, had blue tooth so they could play music! We first went to Koh Wao to snorkel which was a fantastic experience. Ya came into the sea with us and ensured we were safe showing us lots of fish, and marine life. We then went to marine parks and climbed to the top to see the emerald lake. It was a 500 m climb and quite busy with lots of tourist but well worth it to see the view! We then cruised to a nearby fisherman village and had a lovely seafood lunch which was delicious and really authentic. As we arrived it started to rain but we were perfectly covered and dry. Once the rain ended and we had finished eating, we then went to a nearby secluded island to swim where we were the only people to be found. We floated and swam with our music in the distant background adding to the overall magic as our day came to an end. By the time we got back on the boat, we were exhausted but exhilarated at the great experience!

We just had an awesome 2-day pleasure tour around Samui and Koh Phangan with Samui Luxury boat tours. We had been planning this since pre-Covid and indeed was due to go in 2020 when the curtains came down on any form of travel or holidays. Chris (unlike many other companies, instantly refunded us our money no fuss or quibbles). We had used Chris’ company before and it was brilliant service so decided to use him again for our big birthday celebration this year (2023) and he did not disappoint!
We engaged via WhatsApp text messaging and he was always prompt to respond, provided good suggestions and ensured we didn’t try to do things that wouldn’t have worked and reminded us we may need to be flexible due weather and sea conditions.
On the day his staff (shout out to Captain Lek who was amazing) came and collected us right on the beach of our hotel - We felt like royalty at the time! They brought us onboard and ensured we were safe at all times, fed, hydrated and made us feel incredibly special! They laid on a lunch spread that could have fed 6 people, never mind the two of us and it was delicious! One problem was the flies also smelt the barbecue and came to join us (lol)
The island hoping was always fun and informative, we snorkelled, lay on stunning beaches with pretty much no one else but us, snorkelled again with Captain Lek showing us amazing aquatic wildlife. They took us to some stunning places for our lunch and dinner (one place had a spectacular fire show on the beach at night).
Our experience was brilliant from first engagement to the very last minute (where captain Lek turned the Catamaran around as he had spotted Dolphins, so we followed them for a bit just before being gently returned to the beach of our hotel (guests looking on in envy no doubt :-)).
Thailand/Samui is a stunning place to visit and Chris and his team helped us to see more of this beautiful country in its natural glory.
I cannot praise Chris, Lek and his team enough and will definitely use them again (just need to save up those hard-earned pennies (or cents)), always polite, attentive, prompt but never intrusive and had our enjoyment front and centre of everything they did!

My wife and I charted a 42 ft Catamaran for our 10th anniversary in April 2023. We chartered the boat for 4 days and three nights around the islands of Koh Tao, Koh Phangan and the Marine Park. At first the experience of working with Chris (the owner of Samui Luxury Boats) was excellent.
On the day we arrived for departure the only communication we received from him was a text message asking for final payment. I would have assumed that when you are spending that kind of money you would have the owner of this small company on the dock making sure everything was to your liking.
At first everything seemed perfect. The boat was very nice, and the staff were very courteous and friendly. About 3 hours into the day, I noticed that the refrigerator in the galley was not cold. It was warm inside. When I mentioned this to the butler on board, he told me it was fine that it was working. I then messaged Chris from SLB to inform him of the issue. His response was he would address it with the butler. He also said that seeing as he was not the owner of the boat there was not much he could do. I'm sorry but when someone spends $13K USD for a four-day three-night cruise with you and your company you simply can't say well there is not much I can do I don't own the boat. I would have thought something like this would have been checked prior to departure.
That night we had a lovely dinner on the boat, and everything seemed fine.
We woke up day two to breakfast being served out in the open sea. Everything seemed fine. I was told by the butler that the refrigeration issue had been fixed. He showed me that he put the drinks in the deck refrigerator, so they were now cold.
I looked int the galley refrigerator and was shocked to see that his solution to the problem was to switch the food from the deck fridge that was working with the drinks from the galley fridge that was not working. We now had cold beverages and warm food. When I questioned the butler about this, he said no problem the galley fridge was working fine.
My wife ate breakfast that morning consisting of different meats and eggs that were not refrigerated they were in the air-conditioned 4th bedroom on the boat that the staff kept supplies in. I don't think an air-conditioned room is sufficient for keeping meat and eggs from spoiling. Later that day when we were cruising the open sea our butler was preparing dinner. I had noticed that he was smelling the squid and crab that he was preparing in the kitchen. He didn't like what he smelled so he threw it out. That shows that without a fridge for the food the food was spoiling. That night my wife and I passed on dinner and just had a few drinks and packaged snacks.
My wife woke up at about 1am with severe vomiting and diarrhea. She ended up in bed all day on day three defecating and vomiting all day. Day three was our actual 10-year anniversary so not the most pleasant way to spend it. The staff were helpful and tried their best to manage the situation to make sure my wife was ok.
I didn't eat anything all day long until dinner time. Dinner was some rice, a salad and a piece of seabass which had been kept in a cooler with ice. I felt comfortable eating this, so I did. The next day my wife was feeling a little better but did not eat anything as her stomach was not to that point yet. I ended up eating some prosciutto and melon and packaged snacks. When I looked in the kitchen on day three, I noticed that the eggs used for breakfast were kept in a bowl on the counter and the meats were half cooked and kept in the oven to they were away from flies. This is likely the main reason I got sick. Another thing I did notice was the food prep area in the kitchen was never sanitized or washed with soap. Just cold water and a rag. This is likely the second culprit of how we both got food poisoning. No one will ever know what exactly was the culprit of us both getting food poisoning. The only thing for sure is that considering we ONLY ATE FOOD ON THE BOAT prepared by the staff that it was 1000% the source of our food poisoning.
That night when we were back in our hotel in Koh Samui, I woke up around 11pm with severe vomiting and diarrhea. I then spend the next two days in bed hardly able to move and not being able to do anything other than stay by the toilet.
I reached out to Chris from SLB and told him of our experience. He questioned why I didn't say more during the trip and why I didn't say anything right away when we returned. I said on the boat we expressed our concerns to the butler directly. He and the other staff knew of my wife’s condition and tried their best to take care of it. When we returned, I ended up getting sick, so I didn't do anything until I was feeling better. Instead of apologizing and showing any form of sympathy or remorse whatsoever. Chris instead accused us of making this up to try and scam him out of some money. I was shocked by his response. The staff on the boat saw the condition of my wife. The staff on the boat know that the ONLY FOOD we consumed for the 4 days was on the boat from their galley and kitchen. I was appalled by his lack of concern and lack of any form of an apology.
I hesitated even writing this review because we just wanted to put this terrible experience behind us. We even gave the boat staff a small tip when we left as we felt they were very respectful of us and didn't feel that they should be the ones punished because their boss's failed to make sure the boat went out with working refrigeration. To this day we have still not received an apology or any form of professional courtesy from Chris at Samui Luxury Boat. To make things worse he refunded us 1 Thai Baht as to be a total arrogant donkey. It's guys like this that have no right owning a business. He is a disgusting human being that does nothing but rip people off. I hope others will learn from our experience and not deal with Chris from Samui Luxury Boats.

Dear Mr Kerr,
We are deeply concerned to read this review following the reports from our yacht captain and crew attesting to your party having an excellent experience. Without a confirmed medical report we only have your word to the food poisoning. With a report we would be able to isolate what caused the food poisoning and advise you which meal you ate on that day caused your issues.
Please do contact us again to provide us with your medical report that you would have received following your hospital visit. With this we would be pleased to work together to ensure that the responsible parties understand the impact of poor hygiene, something that we work to the highest levels to ensure."
Khun Dome the yacht butler advised us you ate at restaurant on Koh Phangan and believes that is the most likely cause. He also shared with us video and photos (which are of course confidential) of you swimming, visiting beaches and having fun on each of the 4 days of the charter.
We absolutely assure our guests of the highest hygiene and care deeply about our guest experience and feedback.

We were put in touch with Chris who arranged a fantastic and memorable day for our family and friends. The quality of the boat, the friendliness of the crew, the sheer focus on service and giving us a unique experience were just unparalleled!
One thing is the lunch is not at all vegetarian friendly, so please do plan for that in advance in case that is a concern. But that is a minor point in what was a superb experience.
While many other boats we saw during the day may claim to be luxury, these guys truly stand apart!

As part of our booking process, we diligently ask our guests for details of any dietary requirements or food allergies so that we can offer the most suitable destination and experience.
We do highlight that the Ang Thong National Marine Park tour visits a traditional authentic Thai seafood restaurant which is not specializing in vegetarian or international dishes but offers a wide variety of dishes to cater for most preferences (including vegetarian dishes such as rice, soup, tempura vegetables, steamed vegetables, fruits and coconuts)
On request we can send customized vegetarian meals with the boat to be warmed at the restaurant.
If your group has specific dietary requirements we recommend highlighting this so we can do our best for you.

Excellent day out. We hired a speedboat for just our family of four. Excellent communication to the run up and fantastic hospitality onboard. We wouldn’t hesitate to do it again!

I had a spectacular day with the samui luxury boat team. All guys are very professional and helpful. Speedboat was brand new condition , the faster you go , the smoother it gets .
They also offered variety of fruits and beverages.
