Está dividido en tres secciones y desde fuera no se aprecia lo grande que realmente es. Nada más entrar te reciben unos gigantescos leones de piedra rojos, los más grandes de Asia, que sujetan con sus garras una perla.
En un gran incensario los feligreses queman varitas que perfuman el ambiente y justo frente a él se alzan los peldaños de una escalera por la que se sube al templo. A esta escalera se le llama la “escalera del cielo”. Trescientos sesenta y cinco escalones que representan todos los días del año.El sitio cuenta con tres salones, uno de los cuales está dedicado al primer antepasado Kaiji y al Dios de la literatura. El segundo está dedicado al Dios de la Guerra llamado Guan Gong y el tercero a Confucio. El templo está abierto durante todo el día, la mejor hora para visitarlo es por la tarde o por la noche cuando dejan de ir los autobuses llenos de turistas.

This temple was part of the Sun Moon Lake tour package that we availed. The structures are very impressive.

Great scenario of temple and Sun-Moon lake, Instead of getting of a ride at the front gate of Wanwu temple, I started from the top of the hill, walking down thru Confucius temple and later on visit golden pavilion and Guanyu statue. This can save energy for old man like me to appreciate both art and spirit inside this wonderful temple. Great visit.

Set in a magnificent setting overlooking Sun Moon Lake, this beautiful temple is a delight for the eye. It has three gift shops and toilet facilities, you can also get a coffee here. Make sure that you go right through to the Confucius Temple at the back. The stone carvings here are very special and not to be missed.

日月潭観光で最初に訪れたスポットで、湖の北部に建つ大きな廟です。名前の通り、文の神様と、武の神様を祀っているの彫刻が見事な中国寺院で、日月潭を見下ろすように建っているので、絶好の撮影ポイントでもあります。

來到日月潭我一定會來這邊參拜祈福，其實有的遊客也是喜歡這邊👍可以俯望日月潭的大景👏👏外國遊客非常多！

文武廟建築非常壯麗，搭配著日月潭的湖光山色真的非常漂亮，聽說也非常靈驗，裡面工作人員整理的一塵不染非常乾淨。一磚一瓦都是來自世界各地的信徒捐款支持建設的。可見聲名遠播。很推薦的一座廟宇與觀光景點。

The temple was built according to traditional Confucius style and has been well kept and maintained. The decorations are artistic and the scenery of Sun Moon Lake at the top of the temple is beautiful. Apart from the normal religious activities, tourists can explore the so-called "Year of Steps". There are 366 steps each representing one day of the year. You can find out who else have the same birthday as you.
