I took my 2 boys on the half term special. We haven't been on the Loxwood trip before but had passed the signs many a times. The staff were very friendly and polite. The trip was a lovely calm tranquil experience. After our boat trip, we took in a drink and snack at the pub, which is alongside the canal.
We would definitely visit again soon.

As usual a wonderful trip with a wonderful crew. It never ceases to amaze me how helpful and friendly everyone is. A trip back in time for me and my company and my lovely FRosie (My dog) really enjoyed. Thank you for a lovely day

Following on from a lovely lunch at the Onslow Arms, went for a short walk along the canal. Absolutely beautiful.

We had a great walk along the canal and beyond. It was very wet but a great walk, befor lunch. So have a great walk. its a great walk for dog.

This venue is well worth a visit. It is almost all run by volunteers and they are gradually extending the navigable length of the canal.

Had a lovely long walk along the canal in the morning. Beautiful scenery. Lunch at the Onslow arms. In the afternoon went on the canal boat trip. Volunteers fantastic! Told us the history of the waterways. Very knowledgeable, funny and friendly. Very relaxing trip!
Provided us with refreshments.
Was fantastic for our big group (18 of us). Would make a brilliant venue for a special occasion eg. special birthday or party.

Enjoyable ramble today from the canal west up into Loxwood, across fields and woodlands before rejoining the canal at the east side along the towpath back to the canal centre. Was a nice 6 miler with different terrain, muddy in parts and peaceful along the towpath. Sunny day helped but was fun all round. Plenty of car parking by the canal centre.

A beautiful canal with lots to see along the way. Family and I had lunch (pub overlooks canal) and then walked it off! Large car park as well.

We had a most enjoyable hour and half trip through several locks and through beautiful scenery.
The crew were informative, friendly and efficient. Our grandchildren enjoyed participating in opening and closing the locks.
Tea and coffee was provided and there was even a little vase of flowers on the table.
We were fortunate that the sun shone.
There was a good selection of moments and gifts at the shop.

Went for a boat trip down the canal today we were greeted by friendly staff who work as volunteers the trip was supposed to last 50 mins but alas only lasted 35 mins I must admit I was a bit disappointed to be honest but the short trip was very pleasant and it is the first time I’ve been through an old working lock so not all bad .

Thank you very much for taking the time to review your boat trip. We're really sorry to hear that your trip didn't quite meet up to your expectations (we will look into this), although we're pleased that the 35 minutes of trip was enjoyable and that you enjoyed going through our lock. Our volunteers work hard to restore our locks and keep them in operation!

When will it be possible to take our own narrow boat on the Wey& Arun from the river Wey navigation?

Good afternoon, sorry to have missed this question. The canal is very much a restoration project. We have about 4 miles of canal open but as yet there is no link to from the Wey navigation for your boat.

I'm really not sure as I've only been on the boat trips or walked along the tow-path. As other another reply suggested, give the centre a call and they will be able to advise you.

Hi there-yes there is a towpath running alongside and many people walk or cycle along the stretch.Hope that helps :)
