Espectáculo imperdible! El Coco Bongo es un lugar de espectáculo a que tienes que ir a ver si estás en Cancún. Te recomiendo que no vayas muy tarde para encontrar buenos lugares y que lleves tarjetas para poder pagar las bebidas adentro. Las entradas no son económicas, pero vale la pena pagar, ya que hay muy buena música y el show de luces junto con el performance es fenomenal. Está en una zona turística y se siente seguro. Lo recomiendo al cien por ciento.

Warning. Coco bongo is over crowded if you plan on going spend the extra money to get a table and seating higher up. Coco bongo is a once in a life time experience. If you go to Cancun you need to go at least once. Wouldn’t recommend during spring break but any other time would be incredible. Had so much fun even during spring break but was just too crowded.
As a Canadian I felt safe. Free drinks were amazing. Shows outstanding.

We paid for the top tier front row tickets (seats 75&76) with premium drinks and hot snack included. However drinks were not premium watered down beer and paint stripper (supposed to be jack daniels). Food never materialised despite chasing our waiter for it. Poor crowd control allowing people with regular tickets to come up the stairs and crowding behind the seated vip guests and blocking the stairway down. Such a shame, a great show but spoiled with them ripping you off on all the extras you paid for but do not get.

Our experience at Coco Bongo Cancún was very bad! The place was extremely crowded, to the point that we could not transit! The concerts are cool, but short and very disgraceful of each other, which was frustrating! The staff at Coco Bongo Cancún is not kind, and at some times they were even rude, especially the guards and waiters, maybe even due to the “super crowd” of the place.

CocoBongo is basically a regular disco...But: It only lives on his name. Prices totally exaggerated!!! For the normal admission of 80€ you get virtually nothing!! If you want to have fun there you should expect at least 500€ per person and honestly it is worth 0.00%. Honestly forget it!! Rip off high 5! Mafia Laden.

I sat now watching a show and I sent 2 hrs watching a show and have been served one beer. It's bad beer. I had a sample of 1 down stairs and it's water down. So I got 3 xx beers before the show started and it cost me 36 us dollars. We got there at 6 three hrs before the start. I was served 1 bas beer inside the show and it was still awful. So as I sit here with nothing in front of me for 2 hrs and 10 minutes. I paid for open bar. Nothing.

The show is father but they sold us a table with chairs and snacks and arriving they put us standing with a little table to put drinks that we had to be watching. It was almost impossible to go to the bathroom and open bar at the end is a couple of drinks because you can't even walk to the bar when it fills the place. They've got you outside for a while. Taxis off-site are mega abusive, better to walk a block and order an Uber. I went on a Monday

An opinion for everyone who has ever visited cocobongo in the past and wants to repeat it today.
Nothing to do with what was once this place, starting if you don't buy gold the wait is boring even if you arrive early, once you manage to enter and thinking that you bought your ticket with time and from the page when you see that there is no space anywhere you realize that it is oversold and that has not yet entered the giant row behind you. The show if you manage to be in a quiet corner is not so terrible, but it is like going back in time to the same thing I saw 8 years ago when I visited Cancun, the music is not new, and the sound is noticeable that they have not updated it, the sound equipment must be very old because it sounds lousy, I was hoping that for what they charge a little unwary between them I could see something of quality but completely wrong. Overrated and oversold I will recommend to everyone who visits Cancun not to go to cocobongo, not to lose their money and I hope that you who read this comment will not go anyway.

Adulterated drinks..!!!! They put something in my drink that left me semi-conscious. Thank God, my friend didn't take the same as me and was able to help me and take me to the hotel safely. Be VERY careful...!!!

BOOK VIP. The show was amazing but the line was incredibly long. After standing in line for hours you have to stand for the rest of the show which is another 4 hours of standing. I was at the front of the line because I accidentally came hours early. I didn't know the show starts at 11pm so I came at 8pm thinking the doors would open by 9pm. BUT the front of the line doesn't matter because all the VIP people get in first and crowd the place up. I couldn't finish the show because I was tired of standing. If I knew this ahead of time, I definitely would have booked the seats. It's only worth it if you have seats.

How can you be guaranteed a seat/table? It seems like many people were charged believing they would get a seat but didn’t get one. While the experience looks fantastic, I would not want to pay if this was not guaranteed.

Pay for front row tickets and select the ones opposite the stage. Be warned the drinks are terrible they never gave us our ‘premium drinks’

Question about their tickets. From their website, I gathered this info:
$90 - GENERAL ticket, includes entrance, shows, open bar (national drinks), water, soda, juice and snack (2 mini burgers or hot dogs)
$116 - PREMIUM open bar, includes entrance, shows, open bar (premium drinks), water, soda, juice and snack (2 mini burgers or hot dogs)
$150 - GOLD member, includes entrance, shows, reserved seat VIP zone, open bar (premium drinks), water, soda, juice and snack (2 mini burgers or hot dogs)
$185 - FRONT ROW, includes entrance, shows, reserved seat VIP zone front row, open bar (premium drinks), water, juice, soda and snack (2 mini burgers or hot dogs)
with the cheapest option (general) do you still have to pay extra for drinks or does open bar mean the drinks (not premium) are included?
None of these options included skip the line access, so what is a good time to get there to stand in line?
I've seen a separate, private company offer a skip-the-line access (for $150 USD) is this worth it? Does it really let you skip the ilne? Do they try to upsell more to you after you walk through the door?
I just want to have a fun time, see a good show and have a few drinks and get decent service. I am not a big drinker so I am not fussy or picky. Can I get this for the $90?
