Doing the loop with Ha Giang Adventure was the best decision and definitely one of the highlights of our Vietnam trip. We had a great time with Dien, Su & Chan. Most of the time we drove routes away from all the mass tourism and got an authentic insight into the lives of the people of Ha Giang province. I felt super comfortable, even if the paths were sometimes a little more adventurous like the busy roads. Also the accommodations were awesome and an experience in itself. Would book again at any time. Danke :)

We are so happy that we booked the motorbike loop with Ha Giang Adventure! It was really excellently organised. The guides were so incredibly sweet and helpful. They spoke good English and knew how to tell us interesting things. My boyfriend drove the motorbike himself and I sat on the back and this went really well. The motorbike was in good condition and the other easy drivers drove controlled. We were of 8 in total (including the 3 easy riders) which made the 4-day trip feel pure and authentic. We slept in beautiful homestays, had delicious food and we drove on roads that other organisations didn't seem to drive. We stopped at beautiful viewpoints and skipped (thankfully) the very touristy viewpoints and stopped at much quieter ones. We laughed a lot together. We made new memories for life!

We will never forget this amazing trip! Our drivers gave us the best experience we could imagine. We always felt save on the back of their motorcycles. They showed us the local live, nature and the most beautiful view points. We loved the great food and the conversations with them. The homestays at the locals were also one of the highlights on this journey with very pretty rooms and nice owners.

We took a couple for a four-day trip with a group of a total of six people (four we didn't know). It was an amazing trip. We had a lot of fun. I was riding the bike myself, but there were people in the group made up of guides. The guides were excellent, kept safe, led to beautiful places, were friendly, the food was fashionable and excellent, and the places were special and satisfying.

We were 3 friends doing the motorbike tour of Ha Giang + Ban Gioc waterfall. The tour was arranged brilliantly from start to finish. Our guide Nu handled the tour wonderfully and we were very happy with the bikes used. She introduced us to Vietnamese culture, fantastic food and really felt like one of the group. Even though we were unlucky with wet weather along the way, she made the trip really special. The homestays were fabulous and the views along the way just simply heavenly (at least when the cloud lifted!). Ha Giang Adventure made the tour the best ever! Hats off to them and especially Nu for making it such a memorable adventure. It was so good, we will be back to do this adventure again in the future. Highly recommended!

Best trip ever! My guide Jane was literally the best, speaks excellent English and ever so helpful :) The homestays were a plus point because I never expected such beautiful accommodations. Dont really see many other tourists so you know you have gone off the conventional stuff!
Booking this tour was super fuss free, and transfer from Hanoi and back can be arranged by them.
Highly recommend to anyone and everyone. Thank you so much for this amazing experience.

This is a must do if you go to Vietnam and we couldn’t recommend this company enough. Our riders Con and Truong were great!! We felt really safe and got to learn loads about their culture. The Homestays were all amazing and we were extremely well feed. If you’re travelling in Jan we recommend lots of warm layers as it’s colder than you think.

This was truly the greatest experience I have ever done!!! Phuong, Cheng, and Tuion were the greatest tour guides ever! I felt so safe and they took such great care of us! Because of the small size we got to do and see things that large groups would never get to experience. I will definitely be coming back to do this again at some point!!

Made memories that will last a lifetime on this adventure. We were taken such good care of by our guides Con and Di, they made us feel very safe, were super friendly and a pleasure to be around for the 4 days. We learnt a lot about local minority cultures from our guides and being immersed in the culture, from seeing hemp being produced by local Hmong people to visiting the Dong Van market which was fascinating, being the only tourists there felt very authentic. All the food and accommodation was great, the homestay all had beautiful views and were very comfortable.

We would like to do The Famous Ha Giang Loop bike tour, I will have an international motorbike license and am an experienced rider, but my girlfriend does not have her motorbike licence and isn't experienced, can she ride on the back of my motorbike ?

Sure she could. We'll usually appoint a bigger bike so 2 people can be comfortable on it (HONDA XR150cc). most of the bikes in Vietnam are designed for 1 person or 1 asian who is usaully smaller than a standard tourist.

I have a question about Eastern Loop Motorbike Adventure. I am confused Isn’t Ha Giang in the north? I saw Western and Eastern loop. Are they different ?

Thank you for the question, please find answer below.
Ha Giang is both a city and a province in Northern Vietnam. Ha Giang City is located right in the center of Ha Giang Province.
The famous Ha Giang Motorbike Loop is the route that goes in the shape of a loop through Ha Giang City – Quan Ba – Yen Minh – Dong Van – Meo Vac – Du Gia – Ha Giang City. This loop is on the east side of the city, hence we call it Eastern Loop Motorbike Adventure. The further you are away from the city, the more beautiful and remote it becomes. The furthest point in the loop, if starting from Ha Giang, is Meo Vac City.
This loop can be done by normal bike, scooter while people with limited riding experiences can ride (but please join our riding session).
Since we also do an awesome off-road dirt bike trip in Ha Giang which is on the west side of Ha Giang City. We’d like to make sure people don’t get confused. The Western Loop is much less developed hence you need to be an experienced or licensed motor-biker to do it there though the trip is amazing. We must use proper manual dirt mountain bike to do this trip.
We hope you choose the right trip given your own ability. Otherwise the 2 trips can be done by sitting on the back of the our trained drivers.

You can safely leave your bags in our office in Ha Giang where you start and end the trip. Otherwise any hotel would offer free services as a part of "Welcome back".
