Style Motorbikes were such a good choice to go with. We are a couple in our 60’s and we hired a 500cc motorbike from Style that my husband rode and I was pillion. We also paid for a private guide from Style to lead us through the Ha Giang loop and sort all our accommodations and food. This was all very affordable and Style went out of their way to make sure everything went smoothly. Great equipment too. Well done Style and the wonderful Bay our guide.

Excellent private tour with the team from Style! Our guide Thianh was excellent with great knowledge, history and knew all the great spots! Accommodation was excellent with great home stays and wonderful food! The team sorted out the issues with licensing and the police, so we had a relatively uneventful trip. The scenery was spectacular and so worth it! It was surreal to be doing this yourself on a motorbike in Vietnam! A real highlight of our trip! Thanks team, much appreciated!

Really disappointed with our recent HaGiang Loop with Style Motorbikes. We used this company as we used them for the Hai Van Pass and they were great. Two self drivers and paid extra for private accommodation and the 5 day tour. First two days and nights were amazing!!! Routes and views were unreal, the home stays were gorgeous. The first half of the 3rd day was great then it all turned awful. We’d been looking forward to doing the famous boat trip for so long. Only to be told by our guide we weren’t going there (no explanation given), instead we were going to a different area to do a bamboo boat trip. He forgot to mention that to get to this bamboo boat you had to drive down STEEP dirt tracks (can’t even call them roads) for about 2km to then ride the bamboo boat for not even 5 minutes and then swim in the dirty river where you could see local children urinating in. We obviously decided not to swim but had to sit down for a short time because we were so dehydrated and exhausted. They’d given us 1L bottle of water that was now about 30 degrees as it had been sat on the bike and turns out on the other side of the river we had to drive back UP a horrendous dirrt track that went on for about 8km. Absolutely AWFUL. There was nothing to see in this area so truly don’t know why we were forced to go there when we both wanted to do the regular boat trip. The boss said the road to that had been damaged in the recent floods but that was a lie because we’d met about 6 groups of people at that point who had just done the boat trip and had no issues. We were then stuck in the middle of nowhere in 35+ degree heat with no cold drinks and stuck on these horrific roads. My friend got minor heatstroke and had to jump off her bike at one point to vomit on the side of the road. When we eventually got to our homestay hours later they had put us in the most disgusting rooms I’ve ever seen. The view from the homestay was gorgeous and I imagine the reason they book it, but there rooms were like a haunted house. Gaps in the walls so bugs and cockroaches were everywhere. Crazy looking spiders in all corners of the room and just dirt and dust everywhere. Also turns out there was a staircase leading upstairs in each room to another room that other strangers were using!! So it wasn’t private AT ALL despite us paying extra to make sure we stay in private accommodation. We ended up leaving immediately and paying out of our own pocket to stay in a local hotel nearby (the company did refund us for this in the end). Then after complaining about that day they said they were going to take us to a different lake where we could do a boat trip and swim. This took the entire day of driving to get to. There were no views, nothing beautiful to see and we stopped maybe twice for a drink and that’s it. And then when we got to the lake it was dirty, horrid and there were so many boats there was nowhere to actually get in the lake and swim!! And the boat guides were trying to rip us off and charge us 1million for a boat trip when it said 600,000 on the sign!! And our guide didn’t help at all he stayed at the homestay. The homestay on the last day was VERY basic but ok for one night. The food on the tour was very very basic and we basically didn’t eat anything most of the time and bought our own food because it was just horrible. Overall it was an awful experience which is so sad because we’ve been looking forward to this trip for so long and wanted to do a longer trip in a small group. I’d recommend avoiding this company if that’s what you’re looking for. We’ve wasted so much money for nothing
