This was a neat spot we stumbled upon when walking around Victoria. Floating homes, restaurants and shops. Lots of people up and down the docks. Must be very difficult for those living there. Lots of restaurants, prices a bit high. Hard to find tables. My wife bought some jewellrey here. A neat thing to do and see

My husband and I walked to this place from our hotel about a mile away. It is a crowded area and parking can be difficult. We had a good fish and chips dinner at one of the restaurants. The best part of our experience were the delicious ice cream cones at the ice cream stand. The fisherman's wharf is an okay place, but I would not make it a top priority.

It was a good experience to see all the colourful houses on water and all kinds of animals living there. There are many restaurants serving sea food as well as souvenir shops for the ones interested. I guess its worth visiting once but I dont think we will go back there!

Politely explore the nooks and crannies of this residential tourist attraction and you'll be rewarded with some great photographs and memories. There are lots of choices for a meal break. Try to keep your napkins close so they don't blow in the water. Nearby watch the boats of varied sizes pass by, float planes and ferries also use the route to Victoria's Inner Harbour. Take a water taxi and get close to the aquatic action. Rent a B&B in one of the houseboats here so you can really feel part of the vibe.

Amazing fresh seafood. Fast friendly service. Nice view. Recommend when visiting lubec! Cute location near the wharf

The floating houses were colorful and vibrant. The mood around the entire area was festive. The food, especially the fresh fish and chips were yummy!

The Fisherman's Wharf in Victoria full of colourful houseboats is well worth a visit on your trip to the city. There are also quite a few different restaurants there for you to enjoy some food while looking at the tranquil waters of Victoria Harbour.

The house boat are so cute - would love to try living on one - the ice cream is not to be missed and as with all of Victoria - very very clean

It is highly perishable food which needs proper handling and preservation if it is to have a long shelf life and retain a desirable quality and nutritional value

It's about a 5 block walk. All flat but a good 15 minutes. Might be too far for your Mom
although there are many benches to stop and rest in between or you can take a Kabuki cab ( bicycle with trailer)

When we were there, it looked like all the floating housing was privately owned.
