I go here every year to pick up snow apples. This is one of the few farms that grow snows as they are a heritage tree. Service is always above and beyond.

The apples were plentiful, sweet, crisp and juicy. While 2 varieties were finished for the year, there are 7 other varieties. All are disease and insect free. $26.00 for a 10 pound bag.

I normally wouldn't write a review but as I feel strongly that the negative reviews do not reflect my experience, I'd like to give my feedback. This is my second time at this orchard and I have nothing but positive things to say. Before my visit, I was searching online for other apple orchards and when I read the negative reviews for Orchalaw, I was a bit worried. I'm not sure what possessed these people to make such negative remarks as I encountered only friendly, pleasant and helpful staff. With respect to them being racist...didn't encounter any at all and I am Asian. Everyone, from the lady at the front entrance to the tractor driver, had welcoming smiles. When leaving, our bags were quite full with apples peeping over the top but we weren't charged anything extra. To all the naysayers, Orchalaw Farms is a great place for a family or group outing. I would highly recommend this place and plan to return next year!

We visited Orchalaw Farms the first weekend in October. We were amazed at how busy they were on a rainy weekend but could see why in short order. There Market is very colorful filled with their beautiful apples, pumpkins, squash and the coolest gourds I have ever seen. The owners, their family and staff were all so very nice, friendly and knowledgable. We took a wagon ride out the the orchard to pick apples and could tell they take a lot of time and pride into making their u pick farm and enjoyable experience for everyone. It is such a Beautiful place and the apples were delicious. Would highly recommend!!!

My family and i have been going to orchalaw farms for years! They have over 20 different types of apples ready to be picked.
They provide a durable easy to carry bag making apple picking easy. The staff are excellent and always there to help.
The free tractor rides take you right to your favorite type of apples while you enjoy the beautfiul view.
Its easy to see why they won " 4th best pick your own Farm in Canada."

We went to the farm last weekend with 5 kids aged 5-9. We purchased 2 bags to fill at $26.00 each. The staff at the entry were very nice with the kids and chatted with them about the dog. We went through and sampled a few types of apples before getting on the tractor. The orchards are very close, but the kids wanted a tractor ride!
The orchards are marked with various apples at different numbered lots. We chose the lot with the Honey crisps. Unlike other farms, the Honey Crisps are available to be picked. Unfortunately they are popular so we had to search a bit to find some, but we did. The orchards are close enough together to easily walk from one to the other.
We ended up with a mix of Galas, HoneyCrisp, Empires and a couple of others. The kids loved picking the apples and running around amongst the trees. They had a great time. My husband and I had to round them up because the bags of apples were getting heavy! We walked back over to the farm and the kids went on the small playground for a few minutes. They would have stayed longer but we were headed to a movie and didn't want to be late.
This is a small farm, no frills but no entrance fee either (I looked for a no entrance fee farm since we had 7 people attending). I have been to other farms that are larger and that have more things (corn mazes, games, rides) but this one suited our needs perfectly and it was close to the city. The kids loved picking the apples and the apples are delicious. I was watchful for rude staff but everyone we spoke to was very pleasant. We will be back!

Had a great time. The farm is beautiful, clean and well kept. The apples taste amazing. You get a bag full of apples for $26. Wagon rides are free. There is a playground for the kids. It's definitely not chudleighs but that's what we liked about. Good wholesome family fun.
Will definitely come back next year.

This was my first experience with what I viewed as racism while in Canada. In the United states you go to an orchard they give you a bag and you fill it up with what you want then pay. Since I can't take produce across the border I was craving an apple without wax so went to the orchard to pick a couple for while I was in the city. One person said I could one or two said I couldn't when I was told I could I headed for the orchard and had this short round lady huffing behind us to put us out as if we were criminals, When I explained what I wanted I was told very rudely to go to a store.

Sorry you experienced this but it certainly doesn't have anything to do with racism.
We do not charge admission but do have a minimum purchase for entering the orchard that is for all people (same rules for all).
We have the option to buy a few apples in the market for customers who do not need or want the minimum purchase amount.
Sorry for the misunderstanding.

Took the kids to pick some apples on a day off from school.
Quickly noticed how clean the farm was.
Friendly greeting at the counter where we purchased a $26 cloth bag to fill with apples. Can't complain about the price...it's not just about the apples but the experience and the atmosphere. Plus it can't be cheap to run a farm of any type.
There is no food available but again, we were there for the apples.
Play area was adequate for the kids but we weren't looking for an amusement park.
There are the usual people who think that taking a bite and just tossing what they picked is acceptable. Clearly these people don't understand that the product they are wasting are another persons income.
Overall.....good experience. We will return in the future.
