The views were really amazing. It was well maintained and was very green and saw unique animals. Good fun and learning for young kids. The lion Safari by
bus is also must visit. It is a very large zoo spread over 502 hectares. you can spend two hours easily. Zoo is maintained beautifully. Lots of crowd on weekend days. Many animals over there. Most animals looking string and healthy. Really nice place for visit

Kids and adults who like animals and wild life , must visit this place.
They have electric buggy cars with a hop on hop option, so you sit in the car go to an animal and then once you see it you take another buggy car and move ahead, so basically you do not need to walk all the way.
The Dinosaurs park is the main attraction and kids will get to see and learn a lot about dinosaurs there.
The tiger safari is also good and you get to see a lot of animals including a lot of deer's.
The overall experience was great and the place is quite neat and very well maintained.

Nice zoo to bring with family and kids. The place is good with a wide variety of animal. It is a very large zoo spread over 502 hectares. They provide electronic buses for visiting every place in the zoo.

We were in Chandigarh for half a day and chose Zoo over Rock Garden because of my 5 year old who is a big fan of Dinosaurs. Dinosaur park was undeniably the biggest highlight here. He (We) had a great time. The Aviary is worth mentioning. Feels as if you have entered a different world. Loved Bengal Tiger attraction. Wild Safari was closed, bit disappointed. They don't let you taken any Plastic covers inside. Anything in Plastic bags have to be either kept at the office or transferred to paper bag which the Zoo provides which is a Good initiative. We went during Covid time, so eateries were closed. Also entry was allowed for fully vaccinated only.
You can easily spent 2 hours here. There was no Hop on Hop off service due Covid precautions. They had battery operated cars which seats 6, priced at 500/-. Would have been better if 4 seats car are also available at lower rate for smaller family like ours as its quite a walk. You will be drained of energy by the time you reach end of the tour.

Loved the zoo. We went early and so some animals were still asleep. However, staff and facilities were spot on. Tip in hot weather take water and umbrella. There are only 2 canteens there. Overall, experience was excellent. Any kid would love it. Safari ride is a must.

Really no doubt this is very biggest and wonderful zoo.
I suggest must visit with your family or friends its wonderful zoological park and biggest place.
I suggest don't not carry heavy bags.
really all wild animal stay here.........
birds cages are so wonderful really unbelievable birds and very much birds breeds here.

Well maintained. Very neat and clean. Unable to see all attractions at the zoo since some of them were closed due to Covid-19 (Lion safari, deer safari)

How much price of ticket for one person

To enter the zoo it was around 40 or 50 rupees for one adult ticket not sure on children, guessing it's 20 rupees. Same fees for the safari ride which you pay when you reach inside that section of the zoo.

entry ticket i dont remember exactly but it was around 25 or 50, cart was 125 per head and lion safari was around 75.

zoological park is not located correctly at the map. i think u have to change that. I went to see the zoo today with a uber cab.instruction by Tripadvisor and we couldn't find the zoo.
