Nous avons passé notre certification PADI Open Water avec Hakan, un instructeur compétent et très sympathique. Toutes les conditions de sécurité ont été respectées, et nous avons passé de très agréables moments.

We went to snorkling with these guys. The day was amazing. Took a original Thai boat and travelled for a while to near islands. We snorkled in 3 different places and there was allways a staff checking on us. The guys where there really for us and made sure that we were safe. We enjoyed there with our son a lot. The owner is Finnish so you can rely that everything works as agreed and on time. On the boat we had water, fruits and lunch. Experience was something that we all remember all of our lifes. Find the Dive centre from Railey ot go to internet to get their number and agree snorkling or diving session with them. Thanks to the staff❤️.
Pääsimme päiväksi heidän kanssaa snorklaamaan. Päivä oli unohtumaton ja kaverit piti meistä todella hyvää huolta. Turvallisuudesta huolehdittiin ja paikallinen henkilökunta tarkisti kokoajan että meillä oli kaikki ok. Veneellä oli vettä ja hedelmiä ja saimme myös lounasta joka oli todella hyvää. Autenttinen reissu Thai veneen matkassa jää meille pysyvästi mieleen. Etsikää tämä paikka Traileystä ja sopikaa snorklausta tai sukellusta heidän kanssaan. Yhteystiedot löytyy myös netistä. Erikois kiitos henkilökunnalle ❤️

We had hoped to go to Phi Phi islands with Railay Dive center but due to the weather we had to do a local dive. The communication with RDC was very good and they were very accommodating with planning our dive day.
There were a few issues and some are out of their control (such as weather of course) and some things they should consider improving.
Dive boat - we asked for speedboat instead of longboat as we had someone doing a discover scuba. The speedboat was too small for the number of people on board. The tanks and equipment took up the whole floor space so the trip was not comfortable and getting in and out of equipment was a bit chaotic. It is not a dive boat so exiting the boat was also difficult. They did not have oxygen on board which was very concerning to me - that is standard practice.
The dives were terrible - 5-10 foot visibility and nothing to see. Typically when conditions aren’t great, someone jumps in and looks around and they consult or figure out other options. That wasn’t the case. Our DSD friend did not have a good experience which was a bummer. I am an instructor and it was the worst dive I have ever done in my career.
The staff is really nice and hard working. I appreciated that we got back some $$ because we didn’t go to Phi Phi islands. The visibility is out of their control but they should have looked for better spots. I wouldn’t dive in this area again - hold out for Phi Phi or don’t bother.

Sami and Belle make a great team and took great care of us when we went diving. They’re very friendly, and Belle’s home cooked food was the icing on the cake! Would definitely recommend them to anyone who wants to go diving in Railay.

We had two days diving very nicely organised for our family, nice dives with some experiences such as entering caves. Emile the master diver was top. Great days!

Vi hade en supertrevlig dag. Var välorganiserat men ändå avslappnat. Ägaren/ instruktören var väldigt trevlig och duktig

Railay Dive Center are one of the best I’ve ever met. I went for two dives and it was amazing and well organized. The longtail boat was very good as well. The lunch prepared homemade was so delicious… I strongly recommend the guys, have a lot of experience, knowledge and knows the region for sure.

We had two really nice dives with knowledgeable Dive Masters. The visability was pretty good for the area; however, it is hit or miss so you shoudl definitely check the water clarity before booking your dive.

Railay Dive Center did a fabulous job of making our first family dive experience a great one. The instructor was patient, helpful, and flexible to our needs. The company accommodated out vegan diet, two adults, and 10 and 8 year old children. There was an emphasis on safety and environmental stewardship as well as a fun a laid back atmosphere! Thank you everyone!

Hey guys, i remembered going to Manta Point (Manta cleaning station) off Koh Lanta to dive, don't see Mantas mentioned in the reviews - does this dive site still exist - and Mantas still come? otherwise how far are the dive sites and worth doing a dive here? sharks? nice corals? if we go further out - anything interesting dive sites?

HI. I went diving there in February, so I don't know definitively for October. I've previously gone diving in Aruba and Maui, and it was way different / beautiful at Railay, so if you can get out, you won't want to miss it. I can't imagine why you wouldn't be able to go in October. I hope some one else responds who has actually gone snorkeling in your preferred time of year, but thought I would respond just in case some one else didn't.

Hi there,
we are visiting Krabi in end of January 2017 and want to do scuba diving? i have couple questions here.
a) Is water / under water environment is scuba friendly in Krabi ?
b) we are the first timers, so need instructors for the same.
c) How much would be cost per person ? we are a couple.

Yes it's good to dive and good to get instructor if it's your first time.
Price is around 300-400 usd per person if you want to get your open water license. Cheaper is u just want to do a single dive
Railway dive center is extremely recommended they 2 of the best knowledgeable dive masters and you will enjoy your time for sure and your money will be well spent
