We enjoyed a lot to spend a day to do the Thai Nguyen Tea Tour. They organized our journey go and back from Hanoi. We really loved to discover the steps to make tea and to met this lovely family. The landscape there are beautiful and the tea is very good !

It was such a splendid tea tour and precious experience for me and my friend. Our gorgeous tour guide Angel and the red lotus tour agency arranged a perfect itinerary for us during our 2-day tour.
They took us to La Bang commune the first day where we enjoyed picking tea leaves with the warmhearted local people and had a look at their household tea workshop. It was excited for us to take part in the tea making process. Then we had a delicious lunch in local household. They served us with a kind of expensive fish which looks like a shark. It tasted quite different from the normal fish. I felt like it's more chewy. Our tour guide Angel is very informative with tea knowledge and I got a lot of useful information about tea planting, tea processing and tea drinking from her.
On the early morning of the second day, we went to the tea market of the La Bang Commune in which we bumped into the woman who hosted us to her tea making household workshop yesterday. She also came to sell her tea. The tea market was filled with local tea makers and tea wholesalers from different places in Vietnam. They were all busy with judging the tea quality and bargaining the tea price. So we didn't stay long there and then we headed to Tan Cuong Commune which is also famous for tea plantation and the Nui Coc lake. The view of lake and boat ride were all nice, but the most impressive experience for us was that we visited a local tea processing leader's house. Over there we saw the ancient tea trees. some of them are even taller than 2 meters. The host also taught us another traditional way to fry the tea leaves. It was very interesting that we could have the firsthand experience. Most importantly, the host's wife is an excellent cook because she cooked some dishes with tea leaves which were creative and fresh. For us, we prefer to the fried matcha toufu and steamed fish filled with fresh tea leaves.
The tea cultural space is also a destination you should not miss because you can learn some history of planting and processing tea in Thai Nguyen and also appreciate the delicate ancient tea wares.
In short, I truly would like to recommend this tea tour for you if you are tea lovers or you are interested in tea and tea culture. The tea culture tour is a combination of sightseeing, knowledge learning and food tasting. The tea tour guides are all very funny, friendly and patient. If you take part in this tour, you will not be disappointed.

So much to enjoy, see, and experience on this tour. I was amazed to experience a tea plantation, beautiful lake, boat ride, an island with ancient buildings, and a tea museum, all in one very pleasant day.
On top of all that, the guides were very friendly, really fun people to be with, and informative. Anybody traveling anywhere near Thai Nguyen shouldn't miss this experience.

I was very lucky to have an opportunity to visit tea hills in Thai Nguyen with Huyen and her friends. I found the way to pick tea leaves with Ms. Linh in her farm and experienced drying my tea in the afternoon. I also enjoyed lots of tea as green tea, rose tea, black tea and oolong tea. I have to say that's my wonderful trip <3

Had a really great time with tea tour, and Huyen and her lovely friends they were great to us and showed us beautiful places outside the main tourist route including gorgeous tea farms. We even got chance to watch the great Vietnamese football match with them. We would highly recommend Huyen and her company, thanks again!

It was such a great memory that I had ever joined. Teatour team was incredibly friendly and hospitable. They gave a very warm welcome. I had a very great and enjoyable tour with students here. We visited tea fields and experienced picking teas with tea growers. Afterwards, I had a chance to taste different teas combined with authentic peanut candies. Also, we got on a boat to arrive Cultural Islet on Coc Lake and heard a sad love story between Cong and Coc. The tour brought me a lot of new things that I had never known. <3

I have been on a handful of day tours with TeaTour in the past year and I've loved every one of them. They take you to remote places out in the countryside in Thái Nguyên province, you can chat and find out about students studying in the city, have a picnic, make a fire and take a swim (if the weather permits) and they'll take you on the back of someones bike to enjoy the countryside air. It's a great opportunity for the students to practice their English in a relaxed environment, for you to explore quiet areas of Vietnam and learn about how tea is harvested and why it's so famous within Vietnam. Go with a friend, go on your own, family... whoever it doesn't matter, it will definitely be an enjoyable day/trip :)
