What a badly run venue.
Booked tickets to see a band 28th April. This morning saw something on the bands website that it had been postponed but NOTHING on the Venues website, no contat, and no word from the Ticket Website either.
Took our money but not bothered that we might have driven miles only to find it cancelled..
Rubbish organisation, stick to organising "discos" for spotty students before you try and host gigs for grown ups !!!!

This is a truly great live music venue. We saw the Reytons here only last night and I feel I have to review it now.
Seating, tables, standing, reasonably priced drinks. Enough efficient bar staff. Great acoustics made a brilliant evening. We could d not fault it, The band were superb and the atmosphere was spot on.
If you enjoy live music, give this place a go.

Recently went in for re-opening during the plague and it is very covid secure, great booze, really cool spot for students and staff were lovely

Went to the old fire station for my birthday and it was one of the best nights of my life, massive selection of music across 3 rooms. We liked it so much we went back for a drum and bass event and it was maaaaaaaad would 100% recommend to anyone, the staff were lovely and it's one of the only clubs where the security have a laugh with you and arent acting like they're robocop.

Came here for a live music event. First off the place isn't designed for live music. the layout is terrible. The DJ booth blocks the view from half the venue channelling most of the crowd into a narrow space infant of the stage.
There are ramps and steps all over the place...in the dark people were tripping everywhere spilling drinks on other concert goers and generally creating havoc.
The place is FILTHY....disgusting, sticky grim.
And the loos....the gents was under an inch of pissy water and apparently the ladies was just as bad.
Never again.

Saw Alabama3,Great little music venue, friendly bar staff,will visit again.
But....ran out of diet coke,tonic,wine on Friday night!!! Come on guys! and why were the fridges full of VK that no one was drinking. And for some reason someone thought it was a good idea to leave the bare LEDs on the fonts shineing straight in the eyes of the customers, cover them up with something at least.
Great night though, get a bar manager who cares.

What a venue, what a night. Religion with Joey Riot and Andy Whitby.
Staff friendly, prices reasonable. No kids to water bottles which is becoming more and more of a thing in clouds, bit of an issue when your getting your stomp on!
However this was a great night and loved the venue 🙌

Often came here for the propaganda event which unfortunately isn’t on any more! It would be good to do more indie music nights as they were always great fun, cheap drinks and good variety of music. Great place for a night out!

Went to see kings of the rollers, had blast, staff are nice, tunes were heavy, people were friendly (but scatty (in a good way)) and the security weren’t rude like they can be some times, was a good night. All that let it down was the fact that it was way too crowded and I lost 4 stone just from sweating, although, it was well worth the sweat, I would have happily sweat another 2 stone just because it was a fat night. Simply lovely.
