I watched a match between Brighton-Fulham, final score 2-1...nice stadium, outside city with good transportation that during the match day is free. Typical English chants!

I was treated to a VIP day at this venue by my daughter for my 75th birthday and I have to say I was not sure about it at first since I've never been to a football match before despite being a bit of a fan. I must say, however, that I have rarely had such a great day out.
From the moment we arrived we were made to feel extremely welcome and really quite special. We were shown to our table having been offered a glass of wine (I don't drink alcohol and so was given a choice of cordial).
We were then given our menus and on the table were two more bottles of wine - one red and one white along with a selection of nibbles.
Having chosen our food a very charming waitress brought it to the table. I had soup to start and my daughter had pate.
For the main course I chose gnocchi and my daughter opted for sea bass.
I decided not to bother with a dessert but my daughter had cheese and biscuits.
All of these were delicious and the whole time we were looked after very attentively and efficiently.
Before the match itself we were introduced to Alan Mullery and Bobby Zamora and my daughter was delighted to have had her photo taken with them both. It was then time for the match itself and I have to say it was an experience I'll never forget. Very exciting and a great atmosphere!!! At halftime we were plied with more drinks and nibbles and then again post match when we had a complimentary pie. I say again, I really wasn't sure about this treat when I was first told about it, but now I have to admit I wouldn't have missed it for the world; and to cap it all BHA won the game 2-1. Thanks BHA and thanks to my lovely daughter.

Fantastic tour of Brighton's Amex stadium. Diana was a great tour guide, very informative and patient. It really emphasised how we'll run the club is, from top to bottom. Quality.

Fantastic tour of the stadium. The tour guide was great. We did the 10am tour which wasn't as busy. We took our daughter as a birthday treat and she absolutely loved it, her favourite part was the home team addressing room and seeing the shirts and walking through the tunnel to Sussex by the sea. Great value for money and highly recommend

Wow! As a life long Albion fan, what an amazing experience. Fabulous guide Don and the magic of seeing behind the scenes really made my day.
The tour is almost two hours and hugely in depth. Don was very knowledgeable about the club history and current situation. No question was too much trouble for him and he encouraged us to fully engage with the whole experience.
My partner supports another premier league team, and even he said it was a brilliant tour.
A must for all football fans!

Spent a fabulous couple of hours doing the BHA stadium tour.. loved it.. highly recommended.. our guide Don was great.. what a fabulous stadium this is.. behind the scenes tour was so interesting.. I would urge anyone to book it.. so worth the money!! 💙🤍⚽️

We had a private tour with Jon and he was fantastic! He did a wonderful job engaging our 5 year old. Tailoring information to the adults and children alike!

Nice stadium, but not special. During the Brighton and Hove Albion vs Chelsea match, I sat in the North Stand in row 7 behind the goal. Not the best place, but it could be worse. This is also where the hard core members of the supporters' club sit. You have to be able to take a bit of swearing, but the atmosphere is fine in itself. In the hallway behind / under the grandstand you have several eateries (with plenty of choice in terms of food and drinks) and plenty of toilets. Please note that the stadium is close to the sea and out of the city centre. The wind has free rein and it can therefore be very cold. The staff are friendly.

My son,grandson and I took part in the Amex stadium guided tour today and thoroughly enjoyed it. Although we do go to home matches,there are always areas you can’t see unless you take the tour. Our guide was Nigel, who was very knowledgeable and entertaining,with a great rapport with the group,including the youngsters. The tour was 2 hours long and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

Apart from match days, the stadium is generally open for tours on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays, morning or afternoon at a cost of £13 pp. There is also a cafe to buy refreshments

Is it easy enough to get a bus from the Newmarket Inn near Lewes to the match? And back again after the match?

Coming to Amex for West Ham game, I’m fairly local, so know where the ground is, but my boy wants to go by train, can we change at Preston park or do we need to go into Brighton and back out

To get a train to Falmer you need to go to Brighton Station. No trains run from Preston Park to Falmer. You can catch a train from London Road Station in Springfield Road that goes directly to Falmer. As these train comes from Brighton Station you would need to catch it fairly early to ensure there was room to get on.

If it's a match day the park and ride is best and free. Show the blue badge on entry to the car park and it's a very short walk to the bus. The stewards are fantastically helpful if you need support....as are the fans. If it's not a match day then there is ample parking at the stadium and the best car park depends on your stadium entry point but the people at the barriers should be able to guide you with that.

I have taken water and sweets in to the match in a small rucksack that was inspected on entry with no bother at all.
