I've always loved Blackpool, and it's Pleasure Beach, having been brought here as a kid with my parents. Now I bring my girls. Unfortunately, the PB just isn't what it used to be. The number of rides has decreased dramatically, and gets worse every year. Let's see....and I'm going back a bit, but no Wild Mouse, no trauma Towers, neither replaced just a waste of space now. Black hole gone, haunted swing gone, log flume gone (replaced), Mine Train gone (replaced), formula cars gone, no dodgems, carousel, red arrows, river caves, space invader or ice blast (due to be replaced)....so many gone and nothing put in their place. It's crazy, meaning longer and longer queues for the remaining rides. This is on top of those rides which don't open until later (Valhalla) or have broken down (big one). The recent financial report for the Park has been horrendous, and I'm not surprised. They have completely lost their way. No care or attention paid to the visitors (how about allowing none riders into the park? (Grand parents don't want to ride but may want to come with their families) so sad to see, as I used to love coming here. Now, I'll be off to other theme parks that actually care about it's visitors.

We went Saturday (22/03/25) and didn’t know what to expect especially after reading reviews regarding accessibility as our 4 year old son has Autism but we had an absolutely fantastic day and our son absolutely loved it. We have a nimbus disability access card and that made things a lot easier, all the staff were very friendly, was short queues for the kids rides and my son didn’t even have to use his speedy pass in the end, will definitely be returning

This was my first time visiting Pleasure Beach Blackpool as I live locally. I have been wanting to go in for some time but was always nervous about the roller coasters. One thing I liked is once inside my nerves completely disappeared and I was fine.
The wait times for rides were not long at all, 10-20 minutes max as staff get people on and off fast as possible so others can enjoy the experience. The staff were friendly and were on hand if you needed any assistance which I didn't need but I knew who to go to if I did need any help. Everything is well planned out and there's a park map on site to help guide you to where you want to be. The rides themselves were great I did go on three but it does open up the possibility of going on more during my next visit this year.
Nothing to complain about or report, everything I had planned went to plan and each ride was fab!. An all round great family or if your on your own, solo experience. Nobody judges you and everyone is doing there own thing and enjoying themselves etc. 100% be back this year some time to experience it all again. 10/10

Okay for the rides there is but no rides are open and it’s eh, little to offer, very expensive and difficulty transport from London to Blackpool and then the issue of ticket is so dear

This is our first year of been local season pass holders and they are absolutely worth every penny. For £75 each we can visit as many times as well like(excluding Saturdays) and we also receive discounts on food, drink and merchandise. We have now been every Sunday since it opened in February and my 5 year old daughter still isn’t bored.
We as a family love all the rides and it’s the staff who make it great especially in Nickelodeon land.
I’m useless at getting names but the lady on the pirate ride with face piercings is always very friendly and has great banter with my daughter. The guy with the beard on bounce is great with my daughter helping her on and off the rides so I don’t have to ride that one. The submarine ride guy( I need to get his name) is always very friendly and last but not least Erica on Dora the explorer ride is wonderful with my daughter. Erica is always so happy and smiley and you can tell she loves her job just by the way she interacts with all the guests.
Nickelodeon land is 10/10 for me.

Beautiful spring Saturday brought out the crowds. The park was only open 11am until 5pm.and we were disappointed that some of the rides were not running or were on restricted times. Valhalla only opened at 2pm which meant one of our party missed it. Advance information when possible at booking to inform of ride availability would be a fairer way of managing guest expectations instead of causing disappointment.
After a long queue to get into the park due to security checks the big dipper was still having its sandbag safety checks at about 12pm.
Rides which were running had long queues and it seemed that some rides which used to have 2 trains only had one making change over times very long.
I really hope these are just new season teething issues as the staff were great and the park was clean and tidy.
Having no non rider tickets available except for customers who need help make the park very expensive.
The booking process was quite involved with photos to be uploaded to create a QR code which has to be scanned before every ride.
No paper park maps were obviously provided probably to reduce paper waste and encourage guests to us the app but who wants to spend the day looking at their phone? Enough of that in everyday life!

Prices are shocking. Especially for people who don’t do the rollercoasters there’s hardly any rides. If it wasn’t for the Nickelodeon World there would be nothing for the younger kids. £50 for about 6/7 rides - get much better in a travelling fairground. £37 for two hot dog meals and two chips is laughable plus left my 8 year old with a sore stomach and vomiting. Blackpool has had its day. It’s always been rough but it’s even worse now. The pleasure beach is just run down overpriced crap.

Great day out. Ikon was fab, able to see queue times helped. Very clean, could do with some site maps around. Toilets and food establishments clean. Variety of rides good

Fantastic park
We visited opening day and it was fantastic. They had listened to last years complaints and what a difference it made ride availability was amazing! The atmosphere was fab and staff were lovely. The use of easy pass was great and queues were short. Shame big one was on one train but it didn’t have a huge impact on our day.
Food is reasonably priced along with merchandise and drinks. I look forward to another fantastic season here.

We had a good day at Blackpool Pleasure Beach. Considering it was half term it wasn't busy at all and there were next to no queues which was a bonus. We got on all the rides we wanted to multiple times and had a fantastic day. The cost of the day pass was value for money as we were there all day. The food offerings however we extortionate. We ate at the big pizza kitchen and it was very expensive and not great.

To expand on Debbie's answer, yes it is still there (technically called The Big One now instead of Pepsi Max Big One). Although it's technically no longer sponsored by pepsi max they still have the iconic pepsi max can tunnel you go through and people still call it that

Yes the park is open every day between 10am-6pm. The park will also have its journey to hell event on the 24th and 25th between 7pm-10pm but this is a extra cost

I have waited in the ques for more than 3hrs and the ride at the end has closed down. This has happened the whole way through and wasted all my time and not cost effective at all how can I claim a refund or a voucher
