Great tour at Arundel

We had an absolutely fantastic 90 mins with Martin he was super knowledgeable about Arundel and was excellent to listen to! We had a great time and would definitely recommend this tour. Thanks Martin for a great afternoon.

Had 3 different tours round arundel everyine fab , learned loads abt arundel the castle and the cathedral , also lots of interesting and funny titbits .I belong to a local wi and will def be booking another one this year

Very interesting & informative tour

Martin & Karen have a wealth of knowledge about the history of Arundel. We learnt so much about Arundel Castle, the Dukes, Tradesmen & shops, the High Street, River Arun & lots more. We learnt far more than any book would tell us & Martin has several old photos documenting the changes within Arundel. Such an interesting & informative tour with just the 4 of us in total. Highly recommended & we will be booking the 2 other tour routes with Martin & Karen. We also obtained the very good book by Martin called Arundel A Postman's View with is full of lovely old photos & information about the history of Arundel straight from the heart of a local man. We were given a thank you card along with postcards & further information leaflets which was a lovely touch. Fabulous.

Couldn’t stop talking about everything he told us

If you could have eavesdropped our company he’d glow with delight. We have shared numerous details of everything Martin told us again and again afterwards. Simply couldn’t stop: everything was so interesting. And the lady bookstore was very happy that we helped her out of her stock of his book as we bought every member of our group a copy.
We hope to return in the spring for a visit to the castle. And to see him again for another tour. I’ve found him here on TripAdvisor and hope this experience wil invite you readers to book a tour. It’s worth it!

Lovely afternoon walking with Martin in Arundel

Such a fun and fascinating walking tour. We felt we had travelled through Arundel for centuries. We looked up to notice the little details that have survived the many changes. We looked around at how the town developed and how the castle dominated its shape and make up. All done with humour and ease. Martin is a fantastic guide to a town he lioves. If you are in Arundel then this tour is 90mins of sheer information packed enjoyment.

Great tour of the town.

Excellent way to spend 90 minutes in Arundel. Martin is a font of knowledge on history, architecture and local lore. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting the town.

What a brilliant, informative and fun tour of Arundel with Martin. Such a knowledgeable guide with personal anecdotal recollections of changes in the town.
Really put himself out to make the best walking tour we have done.

Fun and Entertaining

Martin was an excellent guide with extensive.local and historical knowledge - he makes history lively and entertaining! The tour was over 1'/2 hours and the time just flew by. Please note that the tour begins at Arundel.museum and NOT at the Norfolk Arms as my out of date information stated! I highly recommend this tour and would gladly take it again.

A Great Two Hour Super Informative Tour of Arundel

Martin and Karen were the most excellent tour guides. Martin had such a vast knowledge of Arundel its history and excellent stories about individual buildings, streets, etc.
We were the only two on the tour on Monday, 25 July and to have such personal attention and information was truly appreciated.
Cannot recommend highly enough and hopefully will be doing some more tours with Martin and Karen in the future.
The small card pack at the end of the tour was almost much appreciated.
