We thought the Kings was a terrific pub. Great bar staff. It’s a proper locals pub but really friendly to everyone. We ordered Chinese to be delivered from the takeaway along the road and were given plates and cutlery! It has a quirky back garden under a marquee with a sofa and arm chair amongst the garden furniture. Colourful tables on the cobbled hill. Trellis with Jasmine and fairy lights. 5 real ales. A real discovery! If you visit Arundel make sure you pop in as it was a great compliment to our trip. We’ll definitely make a point of coming back here.

Pub typique et tellement convivial. Nous avons poussé la porte de cette enseigne à notre arrivée à Arundel... Parfait pour démarrer notre séjour en Angleterre. Accueil au top !

Great pub with friendly staff and first class beer, which is always perfectly kept.
Not only allows you to bring in food from a take away of your choice but happily provides crockery and cutlery which they will then wash up.
Seems too good to be true but been here several times, even though it’s 77 miles from home, and every time it is true.

This is the filfiest pub I have ever had the misfortune to enter , the windows and doors were dirty with cobwebs , the furniture was all mismatch and probably taken from a church,the garden steps were steep and dirty , the furniture was not like the photo and was totally covered with a mismatch covering this pub looks like a bar inside someone's house and the numerous extention leads with adaptors in to make the fairy lights work are a health and safety hazard this pub needs to close and have a total refit or a deep clean at best I WILL NOT RETURN

Not a bad pub, but we paid an extortionate price of £4.50 for a can of Guinness 0.0 (non alcoholic). Would like to return but not at those prices.

Lovely old C15th pub, basic, fairly untouched and great for it. 2 bars serving real ales and a walled garden out back. Cheerful, helpful bar staff. Only in Arundel for a half day but visited twice as it was so good.

Just a very good, down to earth, pub, in the heart of Arundel - ideal for fun and people-watching. Wd definitely recommend :-)

No food, but lots of character, and a friendly welcome in this C15th pub. A great place just to have a drink and relax. Very good range of beers; nice to sit out in the evening sunshine. The inn allows people to bring in their food ( Chinese takeaway nearby ), and enjoy some very good beers. The Kings Arms are happy to supply crockery and cutlery. Sounds a good plan to me.

Popped into The Kings Arms in Arundel for a much needed pint. Lovely old pub with lovely staff. (They even put on my favourite music!). We were half way through a 15 mile walk from Fontwell via Slindon, through Arundel and back to Fontwell via Walburton, so sadly we could only stay for one pint but we were delighted to have chosen the Kings Arms. We would not hesitate to recommend to any fellow weary travellers.

Have used the pub for years. One of the best pubs in town imo such a great atmosphere with the cobbled hill street and lights in the evenings. But post pandemic we have encountered a quite frankly rude elder bar maid who don's a 'jazzy muzzle' who has taken a dislike to people who dont wear one themselves and makes it quite clear in her attitude, shame really but it cant always be perfect I guess. Landlords are great in retrospect.!
