I came here on a trip with my uni course mates and friends. I learnt a lot of history about the house and about Worcester in general.
The tour guide was very helpful and knowledgeable. She explained every detail of the rooms one by one and was also very bubbly. It’s lovely to have a tour guide so enthusiastic about the history and her job.
The house is definitely worth a visit if you are interested in the history of Worcester. Artistic people may also enjoy this house too as there are lots of creations made by those who lived there on show such as tapestry’s and painted door stops, stainless glass.
There is also a lovely little second hand bookshop across the road. Me and my friends braught some books which were very good quality and very cheep. There is a cafe in Greyfriars too however we didn’t try it.

We only were able to have the highlights tour and paid for our tickets. Roger cam to collect is took us around the house. He explained the history of the house and made it very interesting. He certainly knew his stuff and was able to transfer this information to us. We spent about 40 minutes with him - well worth it.

We were fortunate to have a free National Trust pass to gain access to the upper floors of the house. The lower floors you can have a look around via the cafe and are interesting enough but the real highlight is the guided tour upstairs.
The tour times are shown at the reception to the Greyfriars House which bizarrely is over the road from the actual premises. We got there 10 minutes before the midday tour and with it being a Tuesday in October there was just the four of us. This did not deter our tour guide Peter who has a clear love for the building and an infectious enthusiasm for its history.
In our just over an our we had 500 years of history concerning the building the historical events around it and the owners who helped to restore it to the amazing condition it is in today.
As with most National Trust properties the pricing is designed to make you buy the yearly season pass, which if you have got then visiting here should be a priority

Great building steeped in history, our tour guide Lesley was exceptional and had a fantastic knowledge. Her passion ooozes through and is very proud of what she does

Museum and old house to visit in the middle of Worcester. It gets busy as it’s not always open. There’s a cafe and the garden is also pleasant enough too. I like the bookshop across the street too.

I took the guided tour which was led by the very knowledgeable and entertaining Nigel.
A small property with a huge amount of history (some of which will surprise you!)
I don't want to give out any spoilers, so if you've a spare hour or two, do add a guided tour of Greyfriars to your list.
Had a pleasant wander round the garden and topped the morning off with a delicious cheese and pesto toastie from the on site cafe.

Such a lovely place, beautiful gardens, lovely house with tea room and extremely knowledgeable volunteers. A most enjoyable morning in Worcester in the sunshine, what more could you ask.

Booked a guided tour, the same day. Our tour guide was excellent, had great knowledge of the history of Greyfriars but told it in an interesting and engaging way which made the tour fly by. Well worth a visit.

Decided to pay a visit here on a short break to Worcester and the House and Gardens were very good. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. We were on a guided tour with our tour guide Pat, she made the visit very interesting, she was very knowledgeable and informative and she actually made our visit.

Grey Friars in Worcester is open most days but is staffed entirely by a happy, enthusiastic team of volunteers and it's closed on Sundays and Mondays. I think the usual opening times are 11am to 5pm.
It is a lovely setting for a break while in Worcester and the tea garden serves tasty home made cake. The house is obviously also open to members and visitors and is worth seeing as an example of so much of the architecture in the older areas of town.
