We played the Frankenstein room with a team of 4 and had an excellent time! Although we didn’t escape, we still loved the experience. The puzzles were just tough enough to make it hard, without becoming frustrating, and you feel extremely satisfied when you crack one. It’s beautifully decorated and very polished production wise.
All staff were very friendly, and Riddle Master Tanisha was excellent at providing (many) clues and setting the atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience! First time for us. My 7 and 13 year absolutely loved it! The whole set up is great. Clean and tidy.
We chose the Dark Arts which we never completed but it was so enjoyable.
Staff were lovely, welcoming and motivating!

Visited Breakout Games Aberdeen with my Family. Had a great time and the staff were super. Will definitely recommend to family and friends. Decent set up with the V75 game we played. Clues and puzzles were well put together. All in all a really good experience and value for money.

Amazing place for families and friends. Staff are really friendly and helpful and the breakout rooms are brilliant! We have worked our way through just about all of the rooms and can’t wait to go back again!

Visited twice now and enjoyed both experiences, managed to escape the amazon and Frankenstein, we always do these as a family and its great to work together although there can be disagreements along the way but the rooms here give you plenty to keep you occupied and are definitely worth visiting, just be prepared to become addicted to trying to escape.

Fab day at the breakout rooms, great challenges which were exciting. Lots of mysteries and surprises, such a great set up. Really friendly, helpful staff.

Lots of fun and challenging! I have tried 3 escape rooms here and definitely have found them challenging. But finally manage to escape and feeling a sense of accomplishment. The staff have always been friendly and helpful when giving clues and sympathetic when I've not been able to escape. Everyone I've been with has enjoyed the puzzles though. I think it's a great activity for couples or groups.

Absolutely LOVED this breakout room. We completed the dark arts rooms - harry potter themed It was slightly difficult but we managed it. This was ideal with 2 friends after meeting up for lunch together. The clues involved lots of problem solving and team work. It was interesting and logical. Cannot recommend this enough. :-)

We turned up much earlier than the appointment but the host (I forgotten his name sorry) let us start early. A much more challenging escape room but well thought out. Loved every minute of it.

Seems every time we come to the breakout games we get to meet with Ross and David! We came a couple of weeks ago as part of a hen party and had a blast and a lot of banter with the two guys who have always had massive smiles on their faces whenever we come (the other girls at the desk could take a leaf out of their books!!!). We always look forward to coming to play the escape games and we can't wait for the next one!

coming from elgin, is it easier to catch a train or a bus and then walking from there??

Yes! The City train and bus stations are linked to Union Square shopping mall and it's only just a 5 minute walk from there. If you don't know where it is, it might be hard to find though!

Yes you need to. There are limited slots so unless you are very flexible you may be disappointed.

Which rooms do you recommend for first timers with 9 and 12 years plus 2 adults? We like a challenge but we don't want to feel it is impossible. Thanks

Is there a minimum size of group, we only have 2, and was also wondering if we could just show up on the day and get in or if a booking is required

Hi Jasmine,
We don't have any issues with pregnant women playing our escape games and there are no physically demanding elements in any of the rooms. We would suggest using your own judgement if you are close to your due date when it comes to getting your adrenaline going but if you are comfortable to play then there's not an issue.
