This square is named after the fountain In the middle, dedicated to the goddess Cybele, driving a chariot pulled by two lions... But the fountain could be easily missed because of the attractive, eye-catching and enormous Palacio de Telecommunications, a former main post office.
The other architecturally interesting building is the headquarters of the Banco de Espana.

Madrid is a busy, active city of tourists and locals alike. Impressive buildings like the Royal Palace, the cathedral, Monuments, Plaza's and food. The Mercado San Miguel is the place to grab a light lunch or dinner with drinks aplenty, it was always packed to the rafters. The Churro's and thick chocolate are a must, available everywhere.

Durante o dia, essa praça tem um grande fluxo de carros ao seu redor. Mesmo assim, é um belo local para passear em Madri. O destaque fica para a fonte bem na parte central dela.

I stumbled upon this plaza after exploring the area near my hotel, which was less than 10-minutes away. This is where I thought and then amazed that I am in Madrid, at the start of my vacation, soaking in all of the beautiful Spanish architecture.

Yes it is possible to buy tickets inside the palace, the price is 2 Euros by adult and .5 per Children below 12 years, 1st Wednesday of each month is free entracy, check in google using palacio de las Cibeles and then choose Tu visita menu, I cannot post Links thats why I can attached the link.

Hi, it is called Restaurante Palacio de Cibeles and is located on the 6th floor. There is a beautiful terrace with a view on Madrid. The restaurant is linked with the famous Adolfo Restaurant in Toledo, owned by Adolfo Munoz.
