Amazing experience!
We found the Serranas do Mondego primarily as a suggestion for some of our clients (as I also work in the area of tourism) and I ended up experiencing a tour with tasting past a few weeks, together with my boyfriend and my mother, even as a surprise for her years.
We loved the welcoming, friendly and super professional membership with Mr. Victor or Mr. Miguel. 5 stars!
Our guide was Miguel and was a tour charm, delicious products from the region (I was a fan of the broa!). And the whole content of Miguel, who has a talent to tell the story of Coimbra, was simply spectacular.
I highly recommend it and it is a great way to get to know this place better!

We had booked a boat trip with lunch. The lunch was very lovingly packed and also very delicious. The "captain" was very talkative, the boat tour as such is uninteresting, as the boat moves away from the shore, then stops in the middle, there it is told and after less than an hour it goes back.

We stayed with 11 people on the (old?) Boat and had 60 entertaining and informative minutes. Our guide and skipper Miguel had a humorous and dedicated way to bring us closer to the story. 10€ p. P. Is also a fair price. Clear recommendation!

Only the us two for the noon trip, so private instructive tour.
Our skipper was extremely knowledgeable about the history of Coimbra and Rio Mondego.
We learnt so much history that helped us walk around the city for the rest of the day.
Whilst the boat is a replica built in 2021 it looks so authentic.
Well worth the €10 cost.

Super recommended!!! A unique experience! Miguel welcomed us with sweetness and professionalism! He spread the tablecloth and set us tastings of typical products, cheese, salami, bread, jam and a very good red wine! He explained the whole history of Coimbra and the typical boat "Serrana" with a nice face and "lit" by the enthusiasm with which he does his job as if it were the first time, while having years of experience behind him. Thank you! Recommended for those who prefer authenticity to various tourist boats but cold.

Great boat tour in Coimbra. Enthousiastic host telling about the history of Coimbra while you sailing on the water around Coimbra. The boat itself is a replica of an old boat. Really worth it!

Just the 4 of us on this small boat. Relaxing and enjoyable cruise. Miguel was entertaining and informative. A lovely hour on the water.

This was the best decision we made to join Miguel 9n the tour. It doesn't go far, but the history lesson really good, especially if you already gave some idea on the history of Portugal. Highly recommended

A trip to the Mondego mountain range along the river already seems like an excellent idea due to the natural and surrounding beauty of the Mondego River, but beyond that, it was actually the quality of the guide who accompanied us that made the experience even more captivating with all his historical knowledge of the city of Coimbra and Portugal! It was indeed a very engaging trip, costing just €10 per person, and lasting around 50 minutes, which flew by because we were so involved.
An experience that I will certainly repeat and bring more people to experience!
If you are visiting Coimbra for the first time, it is an excellent option to get to know its history in an immersive and interactive way.

This boat trip is just 10 euros and lasts about 50mins. Not much to see in the river but the owner/guide, Miguel truly makes it worth it with his stories and knowledge of coimbra.
