Αρχικά θεωρώ πως η τιμή για τις ξαπλώστρες των 10 ευρώ για αυτή την παραλία ήταν πολύ ακριβές. Η Θάλασσα ήταν αρκετά βρώμικη. Στα θετικά ήταν ότι είχε αμμουδιά για όποιον τον αρέσει η άμμος. Σίγουρα το Καραβοστάσι είναι πολύ πιο καλή παραλία με πολύ πιο ωραία θάλασσα!!

We didn't find too many sandy beaches on the north of the island. This was one of them it was long and fairly narrow in places.. There was free parking along the main street and plenty of tavernas to have a snack in. We particularly like Fusion for its pastries smoothies and juices

Schöner Sandstrand mit Uferstrasse und Parkplätzen sowie einigen Tavernen.
2 Liegen und ein Schirm € 10 + 1 L Wasser am Arillas Beach Point.
Taverne einfach aber sehr netter Service.
Für Kinder sehr gut geeignet, da der Strand lange flach ins Mehr geht.
Sehr empfehlenswert.

Toller langer Sandstrand. In der Mitte (entlang der emsigen Strandpromenade im Ortszentrzm) viel Betrieb, aber am nördlichen Ortsende ruhiger und sehr hübsch gelegen unterhalb der Steilküste. Schirmverleih. Traumhafter Sandstrand, ganz leicht abfallend, daher warmes Wasser, sehr sauber, ideal für Ballspiele im seichten Wasser! Perfekt für Kinder & Teenager. Duschen tlw. mit wenig Wasser.
Parlplatzsuche kann länger dauern.

Bella spiaggia, libera o attrezzata, un mare limpido, sabbia dorata, fanghi di argilla, e zona per fare naturismo in libertà (in zona attrezzata o libera)... è da sogno! Ci siamo tornati tre volte e ci torneremo ancora! 💙 Splendida esperienza!

Η καλύτερη παραλία του νησιού κατ' εμέ. Πολύ ρηχά και κρυστάλλινα νερά με αμμουδιά πεντακάθαρη. Απέραντη με χώρο τόσο για δική σου ομπρέλα όσο και οργανωμένη. Νο 1 παραλία του νησιού με διαφορά.

Schöner Strand, wenn man morgens hinkommt, ist dort sehr wenig Tourismus
Wir hatten eine Bucht für uns alleine.
Das Wasser ist klar und durch die Felsen gibt es auch Schattenstellen. :)

The best beach in Corfu! Gorgeous sand, not much sea weed. Lots of lovely tavernas around for food and drink. Also plenty of sun beds, gorgeous sun sets.

Πολύ ωραία παραλία, οργανωμένη σε προσιτές τιμές οι ξαπλώστρες. Απλά έτυχε να βρεθούμε στην παραλία μέρα με συννεφιά και πολύ αέρα, ενδεχομένως να είναι πλ πιο όμορφα ωστόσο κρίνω με αυτά είδαμε.

Hi all.
We've just booked a week in Arillas for mid-September. The last two times we have gone to Corfu, we have stayed in Kassiopi, and have visited the second week of October and last week of September respectively.
On both previous occasions we have found it a little quieter than we would have preferred. So this year we decided to come mid-September, again with the aim of staying in Kassiopi. However, upon attempting to book earlier this week, we found Kassiopi either all booked out for that week or outside of our budget.
We saw Nafsika & Dionyssos apartments (Rainbow Complex) available for the week we wanted to go and within budget, and after doing a bit of looking at reviews for both the apartments and the resort, decided to book it.
So my question is, what is Arillas like mid-September? Is it very busy, fairly lively, quiet but with a few people around, or totally dead with places closing down for the end of season? Maybe someone who's been there at that time could tell me please.
Additionally, what is the resort like in general? Although I have read quite a lot of reviews that say how nice it is there and how people tend to go back year after year, I don't really get much of a general impression of what the resort is like with regards to things like choice of bars/tavernas/restaurants, or things like shops and amenities.
Any info that people can provide would be great.

I am looking for the best sandy beach in Corfu. We are arriving Sept/5 via a NCL cruise ship and am looking for not too far away from the port. Saying that, we don't mind travelling by bus or taxi. Can you assist?

probably not as I don't know exactly where you docking, should imagine it be corfu town and some nice sandy beaches there,but best beaches are in the north of corfu like arillas,but that will be to far as it will be a good 2 hour drive,sorry I cannot help any more.but have a great time, alan

Is the arillas beach sandy (without pebbles/shingle)? And is it suitable for families? And what is around and about? We are planning a 2 week holiday?

The beach is mostly sandy, especially near the seafront. It's shallow water, so children can be easily there.
There are a lot of restaurants and bars with animation and music. On the top of the cliff in the north west, there is a little church and a nice place to relax.
There are places where meditation is possible, if you like to wander, there is a nice trail called Arillas Trail, well provided with path signs.
Outside there are many places to visit. Therefore it is recommended to rent a car.
We had a very good time there in May. And hope you will enjoy it too.
