Do not expect the modern facilities. Do expect to walk back in time to experience how cinemas used to be, to pay very little and to be served by friendly and welcoming staff. I wasn’t really feeling going to the cinema today but was outvoted. So glad we did!

Love this place it still has the original feel about it and is cheaper than most cinemas, it is always clean and the staff are friendly.

The Dome Cinema is situated on the seafront of Worthing. The Dome is a period cinema but is beautifully decorated inside as well as looking interesting outside too.
Good views are available from almost all seats, which are quite comfortable.
There are three screens, one large and two smaller. A bar is in the cinema as well as the usual ice cream, sweets, and other snack type sales.
Altogether, a good experience should be had.

Black panther film Saturday afternoon. So crowded the staff gave up after the film started and just let people in!! The staff in the bar ( one person ) was serving ( or trying to ) 🎫 tickets and drinks 🍻
And couldn't really do either..imissedrhe beginning of the film as I wanted a drink before then just walked in as all the staff had disappeared no checking apps or codes!!! It's not as if they didn't know the size of the crowd beforehand...... Rubbish service

Do agree with other reviews, the toilets could do with a good clean however, the staff were absolutely lovely, drinks in the bar to start with and a great film. Harry was a joy, made us feel very comfortable, chatting to us and advising us on the seating for the evening. We will be back - maybe with some bleach for those loos !

The Dome Cinema is a very old cinema situated on Worthing seafront with lots of style and well decorated.
It has very interesting bars and is well worth visiting, even if you’re not going to see a film.
The staff are friendly and helpful.
The upstairs of the Dome can be hired for private functions.

Visited here last month after my friend (who lives in Worthing) recommended it. Unfortunately I didn't have the same experience. The cinema was very dirty and in a poor state of repair - the toilets in particular were terrible. Seats were very worn and uncomfortable, the screen was small and poor quality and the sound mixing was all over the place. The staff were very abrupt and seemed more interested in continuing to gossip with each other than serve customers. Won't be going back and will stick to Cineworld in future.

Absolutely rubbish, me and my friend traveled to watch minions rise of gru and we’re really exited, only to be denied at the door for not having an adult with us for a PG rated film. Disgusting behaviour and treated horribly by staff. Definitely not coming again.

outrageous been denied going to minions rise of gru only two of us paid fully for tickets and not allowed because of TikTok trend. ruined my day. absolutely fuming.

A wonderful "real" cinema ambience with superb picture and sound quality, the staff were friendly. A great reason to go out instead of watching at home.

Hi I am looking to bring my 80 yr old mother when walks with two sticks. She would be unable to do more that three or four steps. Is screen 2 upstairs? And do you have a lift? Thanks sharon

Hi Sharon, Screen 2 is indeed upstairs, and has a lift and other than the J row which has one step up, all other rows are accessed via a ramp in the screen.

Bit late.... But for future reference the box office is always open during their opening hours. You can buy tickets also at the bar and the snack stall
Booked 3 tickets for a film on screen 1, will they all be together in a group?

Hi Sam, if you aren't given the option to choose your seats when booking, then the screening will be unallocated and you'll be able to sit wherever you like upon arrival.

Hi Lee, we don't have parking, though there is a lot of street parking around Steyne Gardens, as well as the multi-story at the Guildbourne Centre which is £1 per hour and a 5 minute walk.
