Also this year we benefited from the indescribable beauty "of" the Owl, an appearance that always arouses wonder with the grandiose and spectacular scenery of the long and vertical northern wall. Not least, although not so flashy, is the Zoldo side, which being less vertical, with the snowfall of September 12 has become whiter. Fascinating and of great satisfaction, although challenging, the numerous routes that cross this truly beautiful mountain that never ceases to excite.

The astonishing beauty of the Civetta places this mountain among the most fascinating of all, also rich in a great variety of itineraries, each more exciting than the other. The most scenic and surprising aspect is undoubtedly that of the north-west side with the famous wall, but also seen from the Val di Zoldo the Civetta presents a highly suggestive profile.
Magnificent from whatever point you look at it, it can be admired in its entirety from the Colle Santa Lucia Belvedere (see review), which we obviously recommend.

After having traveled it far and wide in over twenty years of frequenting it in recent weeks, between August and September, we admired it from different angles, in particular from the stupendous viewpoint of Cima Fertazza, which offers a truly unique view of the immense "paretona" northwest. But naturally the Civetta excites and enchants from whatever side you look at it, from Val Cordevole and from Val Biois, as well as from Val Zoldana.
PS - I'll try to attach the relevant photos, hoping that in the meantime the loading problems encountered in recent weeks have been removed.

Perhaps the most beautiful mountain in the Dolomites, although not the highest. Majestic and with a profile that leaves you breathless. Beautiful from all sides and with different routes to get to know it and observe it from multiple perspectives. Beautiful from Alleghe, where it is reflected in the lake of the same name. Like all the Dolomites, at dawn and sunset it is colored with warm and fascinating shades.

Tra le montagne più incantevoli e nel contempo impressionanti per forme e dimensioni svettano (è il caso di dire) il Pelmo e la Civetta. Quest'ultima offre scorci molto vari e versanti profondamente diversi tra loro, come infatti sono quelli agordino e zoldano.
In ogni caso si tratta di una montagna dal fascino unico e indescrivibile, che non può assolutamente mancare tra le mete dell'escursionista e anche del turista, che potrà ammirarla da ogni angolazione innamorandosene.

Allora premetto che ho scelto il Civetta perché era l'unico posto che offriva un soggiorno a prezzi affrontabili in alta stagione. Do un giudizio da sciatore esperto e con bimbo al seguito.
1) Versante Alleghe: scuola sci Coldai super brava con i bambini, piste ok sia per principianti sia per esperti, aiuta anche - in questi non-inverni - l'ombra del monte Civetta che preserva un po' la qualità della neve.
2) Versante Selva di Cadore: buono, mi chiedo solo perché una delle piste migliori (quella dello skilift) finisca nel niente con altri due skilift previsti dalla carta ma dismessi (e conseguente fila aggiuntiva che si crea alla quadriposto Fertazza).
3) Zoldo. Croce sopra, ed in un comprensorio "chiuso" come il civetta è imperdonabile. Impianti anteguerra, piste tenute malissimo, soprattutto la seggiovia Palafavera, passaggio obbligato per andare e tornare da alleghe. Siamo messi peggio che a Canazei nell'85. Ok siamo in Veneto e costa meno. Ma lo skipass costa uguale. Imperdonabile.
Nel complesso. Per sciatori esperti senza bambini al seguito, ottimo per 2 gg stando rigorosamente sui versanti Alleghe con puntata a Selva. Evitare Zoldo. Con bambini, anche 4 o 5 gg ne vale la pena.

La Civetta ci affascina e rapisce sin dagli anni Novanta, ma è durante questi ultimi vent'anni che abbiamo finalmente potuto ammirarla ogni giorno e da vicino, anche nel corso di escursioni impegnative quanto emozionanti e memorabili.
Abbiamo rivisto la spettacolare e indimenticabile parete nord-ovest a canne d'organo, la cosiddetta "parete delle pareti", infinita e aperta come un abbraccio. Ma anche l'altro versante, affacciato sulla Val di Zoldo, sebbene meno famoso non smette di incantare chi sa scrutarne con occhio attento le belle forme regolari e bizzarre al tempo stesso.

Monte Civetta (3220 m n. m.) je hora v Dolomitech. Leží v severní Itálii na území provincie Belluno. Její severozápadní stěna vysoká 1000 m a široká 4000 m dominuje nad obcí Alleghe a je jedním z nejvýznamnějších lezeckých cílů v Alpách.

Anche la Civetta, insieme al Pelmo, è una montagna alla quale ci sentiamo legati in modo particolare e che perciò ogni volta rivediamo (e ripercorriamo) molto volentieri. Anche quest'anno ne abbiamo apprezzato le diverse e magnifiche prospettive durante alcune camminate, come ad esempio quelle sulla Strada da la Vena, in Val di Zoldo e lungo la Valle del Biois. Sempre strabiliante la vertiginosa "paretona" nord-ovest, teatro di imprese rimaste scolpite nella storia dell'alpinismo mondiale.
Memorabili e spettacolari le escursioni che è possibile compiere sui diversi versanti.

Salve, dovrei accompagnare mio marito x la spartan race di giugno, e rimanere una settimana, abbiamo due bambini uno di 4 anni e uno di 1 anno che sta in passeggino, ci sarebbero sentieri da fare o altre attività? Nel caso può anche consigliare una struttura dove alloggiare?
