Si vous passez par Cortina cet endroit est vraiment à voir. Que vous soyez randonneur ou pas, vous serez subjugué par la beauté des massifs environnant, par l'agilité des alpinistes sur les parois abruptes des tours. Nous avons fait la randonnée du tour des tours. Attention, ce n'est pas toujours très bien indiqué et il y a un passage assez etroit et chaotique
De plus la terrasse du restaurant est sympathique et nous y avons très bien mangé

Durante l'escursione lungo il Sentiero Sotecordes (v. recensione) abbiamo osservato lo stupendo e mutevole paesaggio, soffermandoci ad ammirare le Cinque Torri, che dal nostro percorso apparivano in una prospettiva davvero singolare ma comunque affascinante, quasi fosse un castello diroccato e carico di mistero.

Stunning walk. Very doable for all ages. Interesting to walk the WW1 trenches, can't even imagine the horror those poor soldiers had to ensure!! Walking around was reasonably easy and didn't take more than a couple of hours. Highly recommend.

5* pour le site: si vous ne prenez que la montée à 18€ (50% d'augmentation en 2 ans!) La descente est faisable, le parking en bas est gratuit ce qui n'est pas toujours le cas, le site est exceptionnel et inconcevable depuis le bas et le théâtre de guerre 14/18 avec tranchées et casemates vaut bien un ticket de musée. J'ajoute que le "restau" au sommet est très abordable.
1* pour le prix exorbitant 25€ A/R. Scandaleux! La confiscation des sites touristiques pour les plus riches me dégoûte toujours. Venez en France, la montagne est gratuite (je pense à d'autres sites italiens). Mais il y a du monde donc economiquement, ils ont raison.

Incroyable randonnée ! Un lieu hors du temps rempli d’histoire… une nature exceptionnelle entourée de montagnes vertigineuses… un site exceptionnel 🙌

Lieu à voir. Il y a le tour à faire avec visite des reconstitutions de guerre 14-18. (Le plus simple) Mais vous pouvez aussi aller au lac des limides ou alors monter au refuge Nuvolau.
Attention la route menant au refuge cinque torri est fermée de 9h30 a 15h30. Celle ci est étroite, peu de rangement si il y a un croisement de voiture.

Ogni volta che frequento Cortina e zone limitrofe non posso fare a meno di recarmi alle 5 torri. Sono resti di dolomiti più o meno grandi che occupano una posizione strategica. Questa zona fu teatro di battaglie tra truppe italiane e austro-ungariche nella Grande Guerra; ancor oggi sono visibili testimonianze. Sono possibili interessanti itinerari e sono stati realizzati musei all'aperto di quella dannata guerra. Oltre il ricordo la natura presenta uno spettacolo di rara bellezza sul paesaggio circostante. Siamo arrivati alle 5 torri da Passo Giau percorso lungo ma non difficile che consiglio, i sentieri sono ben tenuti, certo l'arrivo ed anche il tragitto ripaga della fatica. Comunque anche se troppo enfatizzate meritano arrivarci.

Totally wirth visiting. You can leave you car at the carpark under the funicular and take the funicular up if you dont feel like hiking all the way. There are incredible views on the top with a short hike trail around the mountain that even kids can manage with little help. Right at the funicular is a small hut with great choice of snacks and drinks a clean bathroom. We spent around 2.5 hours there as we had other plans for the day, but this can definitely be a whole day adventure.

5月末にチンクエトッリに登ろうと来ましたが、まだ雪が多くて登っては行けないと言う事で諦めました。大きな道を少し降りた反対側の駐車場を少し歩いて反対側に見えるチンクエトッリの写真を撮りました。反対側からは岩の塊で山というより何かの要塞の様に見えました。

Die Besteigung des in drei eng beieinanderstehende Gipfel gespaltenen höchsten Turms der Cinque Torri (Torre Grande d'Averau) ist für jeden einigermassen geübten, schwindelfreien (!) Berggänger unter Beachtung der gebührenden Vorsicht ohne grössere Probleme machbar. Super spannende, abenteuerliche Tour, welche aber leichte Kletterei im Schwierigkeitsgrad I erfordert. – Vom Rifugio Scoiattoli in wenigen Minuten zur Westwand des Turms. Zuerst hinein in den mächtigen Spalt, welcher den Nordgipfel vom Südgipfel trennt. Dann, sozusagen im Innern des Turms, über eine steile, gut gestufte Rampe links unschwierig hinauf zum flachen Gipfelplateau und links zum höchsten Punkt des Nordgipfels am westlichen Ende des Plateaus am Rande des schmalen, tiefen Spalts zwischen Nord- und Südgipfel. Abstieg auf demselben Weg. Zeitaufwand etwa 1:15 ab Rifugio zum Gipfel und zurück. (Der kaum zwei Meter höhere Südgipfel, bloss einen Steinwurf vom Nordgipfel entfernt, bleibt dem erfahrenen Bergsteiger vorbehalten. Leichteste Route durch die Westwand, Schwierigkeitsgrad II/III).

Questo luogo si raggiunge con la seggiovia quadriposto "5 Torri" che parte da Bai de Dones (tra Passo Falzarego e Cortina d'Ampezzo) e in 7 minuti arriva al Rifugio Scoiattoli.

Siamo dei fotografi e vorremmo scattate al tramonto (ora in cui la seggiovia è chiusa) come si potrebbe fare per riscendere? Non c'è modo di salire in auto? Grazie in anticipo

Ciao JESSICA 12 vi consiglio di pernottare al Rifugio Scoiattoli che è proprio all'arrivo della risalita in seggiovia,salire di primo pomeriggio aspetttare il tramonto fare splendide foto e fare un'ottima cena al rifugio,pernottare e visto che siete li alzarvi di buon'ora e fare foto sicuramente fantastiche delle Cinque Torri all'alba,io di certo farei così, magari può essere un'idea per voi.

Dovrei andare a metà agosto.
Leggevo che in quel periodo non è possibile raggiungere in auto il rifugio sotto le 5 torri.
Come si po raggiungere?

Buongiorno, c'è la comodissima seggiovia "Cinque Torri" che dai pressi del Rifugio Bai de Dones (con ampio parcheggio) sale in breve al Rifugio Scoiattoli (2225 m).
Bai de Dones è prima del Passo Falzarego venendo da Cortina.
Già da qui si ha una bella vista sulle Cinque Torri (2138 m), che comunque si raggiungono in pochi minuti a piedi su larga stradina in discesa.
Ad agosto l'impianto è aperto di sicuro, conviene tuttavia consultare preventivamente il sito web per avere conferma su date, orari e prezzi.

We are planning to visit the area in September and would like to do an easy hike to see the beautiful views and also see the WWII open air museum. I've read you can drive up an unpaved road to the area and hike from there? Wondering how to find out more about the hiking and access prior to our arrival. Thanks!
