Me, my wife and my 2 children aged 8 and 10 years we visited at the end of July 2024 all the Aeolian Islands with the company Arianna Excursions (except Vulcano because we stayed there the week before) and we had a great time.
It is possible to collect the first information by calling or writing to the indicated whatsapp number: the answers are fast and accurate but then I strongly Recommendation to book and define the details to do in person taking advantage of a walk on the course of Lipari (the agency is in the center open until late). We have made estimates and negotiated with many of the agencies present on the course and I can confirm that you do a package with multiple outputs (the 3 of us with Alicudi / Flucudi + Panarea / Stromboli + Lipari / Salina) with Arianna Excursions tick great prices and in retrospect I can confirm that you enjoy a great experience.
The service is quality especially for families: the boats are modern (ladder, bathroom and shower always present), well maintained, the right size and there is the right number of participants (20 to 35 people depending on the destinations). You are not crammed style boats of 200-300 people and even on boats that do not give a sense of security.
The proposed programs are simple (no lunch on the boat or sunset cocktail to be clear) but with the right timing to enjoy everything without racing. Also excellent choice of places to stop to swim or visit the islands. The staff on board were very kind, competent and always availablee to explain every detail of the beautiful islands.
Cristina who followed us ashore for reservations was very kind and proved extremely helpful in finding a right solution for our needs. Highly Recommendation.
Too bad we didn't see the sciara of the fire in Stromboli (we were there at 20:30 and there was a small eruption at 21:15).
The island we most enjoyed was Salina but it is personal taste.

We were very misinformed and unsatisfied. We had booked a Lipari Vulcano trip - with a small child - and we discovered arriving at the port that the name of the boat was not the right one, that the times were not as planned... and above all we realized arriving in Vulcano we had to stay 4 hours there, on a crowded beach, with no solution to be able to shelter a little from the sun and heat. Not recommended.

mi dispiace contraddirla ma tengo a precisare che l'escursione non l'avete acquistata da noi ma da un rivenditore che vende escursioni per tutte le compagnie. Pertanto non siamo stati noi a informarla male sul dettaglio dell'escursione e ci dispiace che non sapevate che la sosta al paese, dopo il giro dell'isola con le diverse soste bagno, durasse 4 ore. Il tempo libero a terra ognuno può sfruttarlo come vuole e ognuno può pensarla come meglio desidera ma dire sconsigliatissimo perchè per vostra scelta siete stati 4 ore in un lido lo troviamo eccessivo Telefonicamente comunque ci ha riferito che in barca siete stati bene e questo ci fa piacere.

With my group of 9 people total we made two excursions with Arianna excursions. Fast and perfect organization thanks to Cristina, very kind and helpful. Both excursions with the Duchess and her crew, the first to Lipari-Salina, the second to Panarea-Stromboli. Sea and beautiful coves with many bathrooms. The second excursion was not as satisfying as the first: the stop in Panarea too long (if you are at the port for an ice cream, if you want to visit the island is too short but now is not the time), the stop in Stromboli too short (we could not get off because of the situation of the volcano), remained to watch from afar the smoke of the volcano and left too quickly arriving half an hour earlier than expected, nothing much, many on board were dissatisfied. 5 years ago we did the same hike but it was much better organized. We would have liked a more welcoming staff on the boat, less listless and more likely to give explanations on the organization of the day and timing.

Buonasera, la ringraziamo per gli apprezzamenti e per aver condiviso la sua esperienza. Ci teniamo comunque a chiarire alcuni punti. 1. Il centro di Panarea è piccolo e in 3 ora si ha tempo per visitare tutto il paesino e andare persino in spiaggia, come hanno fatto molti altri passeggeri, se non avete sfruttato a meglio il tempo a disposizione non è stato di certo un errore nostro. Purtroppo l'isola di Stromboli era chiusa e quindi come da ordinanza comunale non siamo potuti scendere sull'isola, come sapeva già prima della partenza, quindi siamo solo potuti andare ad ammirare la sciara del fuoco dal mare, ovviamente a distanza di sicurezza, ma dal momento in cui non ci sono state eruzioni, situazione durata per parecchi giorni, una volta che il sole tramontava non si riusciva a vedere più nulla, nemmeno la montagna, pertanto non vi era senso aspettare oltre. Di altre lamentele no ne abbiamo ricevute sinceramente.
Vi ringraziamo per averci scelto e speriamo le nostre amate Eolie vi siano rimaste nel cuore.

I went to Lipari for 5 days, to unwind and relax. On the evening of Thursday 18 July we entered (my friend and I) the agency where to welcome us there was Cristina, a very sunny and cheerful person. Once inside we asked about what excursion to do and we were immediately impressed by the first “Panarea and Stromboli”.
The following day Friday, July 19 at 13:00 we got on the boat and it was the best day spent in Lipari. We met Dario and Fabio exceptional and super nice people, time passed too quickly that we did not even realize how lucky we were to be up there. I will definitely return hope as soon as possible! I left a piece of heart when we finished the hike. ❤️😍
The following day Friday, July 19 at 13:00 we got on the boat and it was the best day spent in Lipari. We met Dario and Fabio exceptional and super nice people, time passed too quickly that we did not even realize how lucky we were to be up there. I will definitely return hope as soon as possible! I left a piece of heart when we finished the hike. ❤️😍

I was hiking with my children (Panarea/Stronboli) July 12...Wonderful experience!! Dario and Fabio were very good and very nice!! If we had more time we would have done the other excursions. Brava Cristina (reception in the shop)!

Positive experience definitely above my expectations! I consider it inevitable if you want to fully experience the Aeolian Islands. We made three excursions in the day, one with the boat Arianna (slightly smaller in size) and two with Duchess. During the sea trips we had the opportunity to make several bathing stops, all pleasant and of reasonable duration, so as to have the opportunity to appreciate the beauty and purity of the Aeolian waters. The time to go ashore was enough to have lunch and visit dream places. Each island exudes its own particular magic! Personally I really enjoyed Filucudi and Salina. The cabin crew has always been kind and attentive to our safety, provided us with the necessary information on the attractions of the places and was able to create a climate of pleasant fun. On the boat there was enough space for everyone, as well as the opportunity to choose whether to sunbathe at the bow and above the boat on comfortable mattresses or stay inside. At the end of the excursions the captain and the sailor also kindly offered us a glass of Malvasia for a toast. Nel complesso, stra-consigliato!

Arrivati a Lipari abbiamo cercato subito questa agenzia in virtù di quanto letto e dai consigli del proprietario della nostra abitazione. Parlando con Cristina e Dario proprietari dell agenzia abbiamo scelto la formula di 6 isole in 3 escursioni, si sono subito dimostrati capaci, attenti ed esperti a quanto ci offrivano. Purtroppo però dopo le prime 2 gite in barca ci siamo accorti causa l ondeggia delle barche sia io che mia moglie soffrivano troppo il mal di mare. Le imbarcazioni Duchessa e Arianna veramente funzionali e pulite e condotte da Dario e d'un altro marinaio che purtroppo non mi ricordo il nome in modo perfetto
In virtù di questo nostro problema ( maldimare) e spiegato ciò a Cristina ha provveduto immediatamente a ridarci quanto dovuto per l ultima gita. Questo è stato un gesto di attenzione che ci ha colpito molto e che ci ha fatto un immenso piacere chiacchierando con loro si sono dimostrate delle persone veramente eccezionali
Grazie di tutto siete eccezionali

We went on two excursions with them, both very well done and enjoyable. The boat used was comfortable, also equipped with a shower and bathroom and above all with the right number of people on board. The times were more or less respected. Very recommended

Salve, per seconda metà di luglio è meglio prenotare prima le escursioni o si può fare una volta arrivati sul posto? Vorrei anche sapere le dimensioni delle vosre imbarcazioni e qual è il numero massimo di persone che accettate. Grazie!

salve, si è meglio prenotare in anticipo perchè siamo già in alta stagione. Abbiamo imbarcazioni che trasportano piccoli gruppi di persone. La invito ad inviarci una mail per maggiori delucidazioni compilando l'apposita sezione in contattaci.

Siamo un gruppo di 4 adulti e 4 bambini di 9, 5, 4 e 1 anno.Saremo nella splendida Sicilia dal 4 al 10 agosto e vorremmo fare una gita nel pomeriggio e sera, per vedere più isole e soprattutto le eruzioni dello stromboli.
