Ci andai nel 2014... letteralmente innamorata. Fate un salto da zurro ristorante sulla spiaggia, lì attaccata al porto. Sono stata alle egadi che ho amato, ma come le Eolie.. molto più difficili come isole... ma con un fascino e questo fondale scuro. Io sono rimasta davvero incantata.

Il posto più bello al mondo secondo me. Da vivere con calma, perdendosi nel vicoli del piccolo borgo, visitando qualche caletta solitaria, guardando il cielo stellato (ci sono stata nel 2021, non c'era inquinamento luminoso e si vedeva la Via Lattea a occhio nudo) e per salire più volte alla terrazza panoramica.
La prima volta che ci sono stata nel 2014 sono salita fino in cima, ora si può arrivare fino a 400m, più o meno a metà strada, ma vale comunque la pena.
quota 400 è raggiungibile agevolmente in poco più di un'ora dalla Chiesa di San Vincenzo, attraverso un sentiero panoramico che da su tutta la costa del paese di Stromboli. La Sciara del fuoco è bellissima, esperienza assolutamente da fare, ovviamente al calare della luce per poter godere delle esplosioni dello Stromboli.

Where else do you find in the world a not dangerous active volcano that erupts every 20 minutes? I think i said quite enough to justify the 5 stars.
Absolutely to do: the night eruption experience: take any tour from Panarea, leaving at 6 pm, enjoying the sunset from little bars in Stromboli and then be ready for the show from the boat.
Plus, do not miss the view of milky way if the weather is good. Absolutely un-overcomable

Es gab Zeiten, da durfte man uneingeschränkt auf den Vulkan steigen, ja oben sogar übernachten.
Vor einigen Jahren wurde das dann verboten. Ab dann durfte man auf den Vulkan nur noch mit zertifizierten Bergführer.
Seit 2 Jahren ist auch das verboten. Auf den Vulkan darf nun niemand mehr rauf, auch nicht mit Bergführer.
Bis vor 2 Jahren noch durfte jedermann auf einen, nicht sonderlich spektakulären, Aussichtspunkt auf 400m gehen. Seit niemand mehr auf den Vulkan darf, wurde auch dieser Punkt für die Allgemeinheit geschlossen. Jetzt darf man ohne Beschränkungen auf einen Aussichtspunkt gehen der auf 300m liegt. Auf diesem sieht man exakt das Gleiche wie auf jenem auf 400m.
Warum darf man dann dort nur mit Führung rauf?
Ganz einfach, man wollte die Bergführer nicht arbeitslos machen. Für die 100m höher zu gehen sind 25€ zu bezahlen, völlig sinnlos rausgeschmissenes Geld.
Es gibt aber genügend Leute die in endlosen Schlagen bereit sind für 25€ genau 100m höher gehen zu dürfen.
Fazit: solange man mehr nicht mehr auf den Vulkan darf lohnt sich Stromboli meiner Meinung nach nicht mehr.

Nous avons eu la chance de voir le Stromboli fumer tout l après-midi et le soir avec la sortie en bateau coté cratère éruttif nous avons vu des jets de lave pratiquement en continus

Île du volcan Stromboli - Je suis réellement sans mots pour exprimer l'expérience vécue pendant 2 nuits sur cette minuscule île de 420 habitants où plus du 90% du territoire est occupé par le volcan Stromboli. Il a fallu 3h de bateau pour m'y rendre, dans une mer agitée. Stromboli fait partie de l'archipel des Îles Éoliennes qui en compte 25 au total. Ces îles sont d'origines volcaniques, mais seulement deux sont encore en activités. Stromboli est le plus haut des volcans, le plus réactif et la plus lointaine des îles. Le petit village de maisons blanches est juste au pied du volcan est très impressionnant! J'ai pu monter une partie du volcan et je dois dire que j'ai tout mon respect pour les habitants d'ici.

Superbe randonnée sur les pentes brûlées du Stromboli, prévoir deux journées sur l'ile pour une Ascension complète.

L'isola di Stromboli è la più inquietante di tutte le Eolie, in quanto è ancora attivo il suo vulcano, infatti si levano colonne di fumo e ceneri continuamente e di notte si possono vedere dalla sciara di fuoco spruzzi di lava e bagliori rossi.
Il paese è bello con una strada che si inerpica fino ad una piazza con belvedere su Strombolicchio, ricca di negozi di souvenir e ristorantini.
La spiaggia di sabbia e ciotoli neri.
interessanti anche i mezzi di locomozione elettrici e piccolini per aggirarsi per le viuzze strette del luogo, li hanno anche i taxi e i Carabinieri.
Mi ha proprio affascinato, da non perdere assolutamente.
Il paese è bello con una strada che si inerpica fino ad una piazza con belvedere su Strombolicchio, ricca di negozi di souvenir e ristorantini.

interessanti anche i mezzi di locomozione elettrici e piccolini per aggirarsi per le viuzze strette del luogo, li hanno anche i taxi e i Carabinieri.
Mi ha proprio affascinato, da non perdere assolutamente.

As of early Sept 22 the paths to the top are closed past about half way up. It's still a great hike to the "go no further signs" but if you can I'd suggest you visit once the paths are fully open again!

Prima volta alle Eolie stupende , purtroppo nella salita a Stromboli abbiamo visto dal vivo il disastro lasciato dal recente incendio , distrutta quasi tutta la macchia mediterranea, che tristezza....

Bonjour, je prévois un séjour d'une semaine en Sicile mi juin 2021 dont 1 journée pour voir stromboli et que mes filles de 7 et 10 ans puissent voir les éruptions. Elles ne peuvent pas faire de trekking de 3h. Un bateau serait mieux je pense. Quelle compagnie me conseillez vous avec des prix raisonnables svp? Merci beaucoup

Hallo, gibt es auch "kürzere" Touren? Zum Beispiel: von tropea aus zum Stromboli und Vulcano? Haben zwei vierjährige Mädels dabei die irgendwann keine Lust mehr haben. Ein oder mehrere Fahrpläne sind sicher auch hilfreich?

Do night boat tours run of season? We are visiting in February and would like to do a type to see the fire wall, but all tours I've found online only run May to October. Also does the ferry run daily all year? We would like to stay on the island for a night or two and find a place where we can enjoy the volcano from the balcony.

Much of the islands close down around this period as it’s winter and is cold. The seas are rough and choppy so the boats won’t always go out. The ferry runs but the time table changes and once again only if the seas are calm. It is not a good time to go to Stromboli unless you are visiting a friend or relative. The island will be like a ghost island locals only. If some locals go to main land like Rome as I know one of the hotels close down and the owner lives in Rome for 6 months before tourist season starts again

I don't really know although I would imagine extra caution will now be taken. I visited only a few days before the latest eruption and there was no indication that one was imminent.
