I highly recommend this tour! I went on 2 hours boat trip with my mom, Artut left a great impression as a person and as a guide. 5/5! 👍🏻☺️

Our first time in Bingen am Rhein and we were looking for something nice to do. We came across Rhine River Tours and due to the good reviews decided to contact them. During the car trip from The Netherlands to Germany we’ve been in contact with Artur. This first contact went very smoothly ( very quick replies) and thus felt very promising. Due to our available time we unfortunately could only do the half day tour. Cost €55 p.p. ( don’t forget to bring enough cash) On arriving at our hotel he picked us up and brought us to the meeting place where some other people were waiting. Artur is a great guy. Very talkative and knowledgeable. We did a nice boat tour and went to a beautiful castle where we had another tour. Due to Covid the tours are finally picking up for him again so don’t hesitate to book with Artur. You’ll have a great time. During the tour he gave us some more tips about bike tours, things to visit, where to eat. If we ever return to Bingen we’ll do the whole day tour (including cable car ride and wine tasting). So Artur, maybe until then ;-) . Regards from the Netherlands

Was für ein wundervoller Tag! Wenn man bei Tour Guides den Eindruck hat, dass man von ihnen auf ihren eigenen Lieblingsausflug mitgenommen wird, dann machen sie einfach alles richtig und Vergnügen, Staunen und Genießen sind garantiert. Viele Touristengruppen besuchen Tag für Tag diese zauberhafte Ecke Deutschlands, aber eine Reise steht und fällt mit den Organisatoren. Deshalb möchte ich auch nicht aufzählen, was wir alles sehen durften, sondern danke schön sagen an Artur und Monika: Ihr habt den Tag gerockt! Besser geht es nicht!

Artur was an outstanding guide. He took his time, did not rush through any portion of the trip and engaged my 10 and 11 year old daughters.

I searched online looking for a day trip from Ramstein and I found Rhine River Tours, I must start this review by saying Artur was an exceptional guide from start to finish! Let me start at the beginning...
In the email inquiry, I told Artur I was traveling alone and will arrive by train. He told me which train stop to use (Bingen Hbf) and offered to pick me up from the train station. I appreciated this because it was one less opportunity for me to get lost. Once in Bingen, we met with the rest of the group.
Artur kept the group fairly small to ensure it is a more engaging and less overwhelming experience. Initially I thought we were getting on a boat and would only see the sites as we cruised down the Rhine. This was not the case. I would say the tour is 85% walking and 15% cruising.
I was pleasantly surprised that we were able to walk within the towns and see the monuments, castles, vineyards and other sites. Artur made it a point to explain the history of the sites we were seeing in an engaging manner.
I loved that he was attentive to everyone in the group, making sure our questions were answered, ensuring the comfort level as we continued on in the tour and keeping us on schedule without making it seem regimented. If you are looking for a way to get an overall view, learn some history, avoiding a scam and enjoy yourself, look no further.
Because my review is a little long-winded, here are some bulleted things to know:
*You need to pay cash for the tour.
*Wear comfortable walking shoes.
*If catching a train, it's safe to book your return ticket in advance. Artur sticks to the tour time listed on the website.
*Bring cash if you want to purchase souvenirs.
*Great if you have a traveling companion, family or solo.

Artur was absolutely amazing! The walking tour was spectacular and loved all the sites we were able to see, that if we did it on our own we would not have been able to see. We were able to meet the owner of the Rheinstein Castle as well as the owner of the winery we explored. Artur is laid back and very informative, he took it at everyone's pace and it was one of the best tours I have had the pleasure of doing. This is a must do tour and I would do this again if I am back in the area! the restaurant we have lunch at was spectacular and the food was to die for - make sure you try the wine while you are there! Artur really has done a wonderful job with this tour and I recommend everyone doing it if they are in the area!

Artur and his son Tom did a great job guiding us near Bingen on and off the Rhine river ferries. We had a family of 4 and Artur was very informative about the local sights and was very relaxed and accomodating for anything we were interested in stopping and learning more, or photos, or whatever. Really well done!

Our family had a wonderful day with Artur in mid-August. He is a very worldly person, having travelled and lived abroad. Artur was born and raised in Bingen, so knows the ancient and recent history of the area very well. His English is impeccable, and he explains things very well and thoroughly. We had many questions for him, and had interesting discussions throughout the tour. Anyone would be hard pressed to find a better guide or such an enjoyable day out!

An amazing day with Artur visiting a variety of places around the Rhine. A great lunch in a vineyard with a wonderful view. Travelled on a boat on the river. Even got to check out a castle. All of this for our 10-hour layover while flying through Frankfurt. Artur was great at setting a pace and making sure we made it back with plenty of time to catch our flight. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

on your call you could be picked up at any hotel or have a ride to the airport. You could go with a bigger group but you might call first.
best cloth to wear, shoes...on an on or even the weather forecast will be send to you. Excellent service!
