Very friendly and helpful staff at this small family owned champagne house, very refreshing compared to the big houses. Good tasting and champagne purchased, we will go back! Throughly recommended!

We had a very nice tour of the production and the cellars. Very interesting, good to see all the steps from closeby. Personal tour and we could ask all the questions we wanted. Afterwards a interesting tasting with explanation of the different styles. Would definitely recommend for all who want to visit an independent smaller production house. Thanks for the friendly tour and tasting!

Nous avons été reçu par Benoît,
Après une visite de la cuverie et de la cave avec toutes les explications nécessaires, nous avons dégusté les différents champagnes tous excellents.
Un accueil comme ça doit être souligné, je recommande vivement ce domaine familial.

We went to Champagne from Paris on a self-guided day trip. After we visited the Ave de Champagne in Epernay, we took a taxi to Hautvillers to see the vineyards. As we were walking around, we stopped by the house of Champagne Fernand Lemarie, which was a small quaint house with huge hospitality and genuine love and passion for their work! When we popped in, we had a 3-glass tasting which was very affordable (6 euros for 3 samples, if I recall correctly). The champagne was delicious! What made the experience even more amazing was the warm hospitality of the son (this is a 4th generation family business). We visited (unknowingly) on the last day of harvest and were invited to see the champagne making process which was very special! I purchased a bottle of champagne to take back to friends to share the story of this family, their craft, and their enthusiasm for welcoming us into their world. Merci!

We took the tour and tasting. Only 12 euro for 2 persons. At that moment we were the only ones so it was a special tour just for us. I dont know how this usually work if its more crowded.
We got a nice explanation of the proces and got to see the different steps of the process. We also went into their cellar which was special to see. The tasting was good, and we could not resist to buy some champagne and some glasses. Defintly worth visiting!

This was the first small champagne house we visited, it was brilliant. Hosts were incredibly friendly, even if we had to communicate via google translate! We tried the 3 main champagnes and even got to look in the workshop and the press in action.
The venue had a lovely view and we felt at ease sipping our drinks, I would even say it was our favourite of the trip and we will enjoy drinking the 2010 vintage we bought when we get home.
Useful tip - If the tasting room looks closed just ring the doorbell of the house opposite.

Quel plaisir de pouvoir visiter une cave familiale avec une guide passionnée. Merci pour cette belle matinée passée en votre compagnie. Des explications claires, un réel moment de partage, vraiment une belle découverte. Nous recommandons cette cave pour votre future visite à Reims. Encore merci pour tout.

In april dit jaar hier geweest met een champagnetour, het proces van champagne maken bekeken en hun kelders bezocht. Heerlijke champagne geproefd en een aantal flessen gekocht voor een zeer schappelijke prijs.
In oktober op eigen gelegenheid nogmaals terug om nog een aantal doosjes champagne te kopen. Wederom zeer vriendelijk ontvangen, wat een lieve mensen met hart voor hun product.
We gaan hier zeker nog vaker komen!

We first visited this small Champagne House a few years ago as part of a tour. We love their products and can recommend all of them for their occasion. This is a small family business, only just big enough to carry its own label. The family is friendly, knows little English, but is patient with visitors. A great place to visit (as part of a your) and to buy.
