Heureka Science Center offers joy of discovery for people of all ages. Some exhbitions or single exhibits may not be suitable for very young kids but there is always something suitable for them anyway. The planetarium films are not allowed for children under 3 years old. At the moment the biggest exhibition at Heureka is BODY WORLDS - Animal Inside which can be amazing also for small kids. You can see some pictures of the exhibition in our website heureka.fi. For children under 6 years old there is no admission fee.

Dear Richard Walters, Our mental health exhibition is not emphasizing diagnosis nor treatments. The main message of the exhibition is to dispel prejudice and stigma associated with mental illnesses, and to encourage people to take care of their own mental health. Psychoanalysis and psychotherapy are included both as historical milestones of the field and psychotherapy is also mentioned as an effective treatment to depression together with medication. The entire exhibition was developed in close collaboration with both scientific experts and peer experts - people who themselves have suffered of mental illnesses. All the content, including the rather provocative name of the exhibition, ”Heureka Goes Crazy” were verified and approved with the peer experts. - More information about the exhibition can be found on Heureka’s website in English – under ”Travelling exhibitions" At the moment, the exhibition is at Pavilion of Knowledge, Lisbon, Portugal, under the title ”Loucamente”.
