We've stayed in a hytte for 4 nights and overall we've been quite pleased with Nordstrand Camping. Here are the main benefits:
+ ~300m away from the palm beach... probably one of the best beaches in 🇩🇰
+ an indoor pool which is absolutely necessary considering the danish weather
+ mini-golf and a bouncy bounce for the kids
+ the cottage is well equipped and has all features of clamping. You can park your car next to your house which is also a nice feature.
+ great basis for trips to Farup summerland, Skaagen or Aarborg.
If I had to be nitpicking then there would be the following negative points:
- no mosquito nets in the window due to the (scandavian) windows opening towards outside. And yes, there are swarms of this pestilence...
- scarse info policy: just before our departure we've discovered on a note in the closet that we're supposed to return the hytte cleaned. It wouldn't hurt if such info was on a handout. That maybe a danish thing though since we had several situations where just figured out by coincidence how things work out...
One final note: I would highly recommend to ask for the hytte 34-37 since these are with the veranda towards the bushes and not towards the road. Hence, you have way more privacy compared to 30-33.

Pratique car non loin du ferry pour la Suède.
Nous avons fait un stop d’une nuit pour camper.
L’accueil était moyennement sympathique.
On nous a attribué une place d’office, accolé aux sanitaires ! Je suppose que c’est parce que l’on ne reste qu’une nuit.
Aucun renseignement supplémentaire donné, ni sur le camping, ni sur les environs.
Terrain mi herbeux mi terreux.
Le matin on entend la route.
Sanitaires très propres et avec des facilités pour le enfants.
Les douches payantes sont très courtes.
Le wifi payant fonctionne super bien.
Ok pour un stop.
Je ne sais pas ce que cela vaut pour plus longtemps.

For en fantastisk plass! Mer enn nok å finne på i både gå avstand og 10min med sykkel så er du i koselige Frederikshavn, med en av Danmarks lengste handle gater. Barna var 7og 10år, de hadde det helt supert og vil tilbake! 😊 Camping plassen er flinke til å aktivisere barna med disko og film kvelder, ball i bassenger og mye mer!lekeland rett over gata for gråvær dager! Meget hyggelige ansatte her også! Anbefales på det varmeste!

We stopped by for one night with our motorhome. This place a more of a resort to spend a week or two in family with plenty of activities. The facilities are awesome: giant showers and bathroom, cooking area with oven and microwave, dishwashing area. Overall a little expensive for us because with did not took advantage of this offering.

Campingen var veldig fin og lå i nærheten av en flott strand med palmer. Sanitæranlegg var rent og pent og betjeningen var veldig hyggelig. Vi lå i telt og det var fine inndelte plasser. Innendørs basseng som var helt Okei. Ungene trivdes der. Er fint anlegg for barnefamilier og for større barn.
