Malmsbury is a small village so you can't really miss beautiful buildings like this... you will see it even if you don't turn off the main road to look at it. It sits in an elevated position. If you take a moment to pull into the side road ( it is signposted for the church) then you will see a beautiful architectural building. And in fact, when you research it... it's made from local bluestone.

The foundation stone was laid in 1861...but it didn't open until 1866. The cost was £3751... I love that they added that last dollar to the amount, but of that cost the community contributed half. The church was restored in 2000.

It's quite a lovely church and you can wander around it at will, although with the Covid restrictions, like many other churches in Australia at the moment, you can't wander through it.
