This is one of Australia's most beautiful regional art galleries that has a great diversity of art, including an art glass gallery. They often have local artists talks and plenty of local art on display. The cafe is well worth a visit.

I expected this gallery to be like many other big city art galleries I have visited which have lots of painting collections. Not the case here at all with just a few special exhibitions which were all a bit abstract and strange. Not your traditional art gallery but it’s free and air conditioned.

I loved how u can hear some of the stuff being shown and the size is just right. The cafe is a bit expensive and haves a nice big gift shop.

Drove 1.5 hours from Albury to see this gallery and the Art Glass exhibition.
Not worth it I'm afraid.
The Art Glass was quite ordinary except for a couple of pieces, and the Art Gallery was quite minimalist in its offering.

Situated next to the glass gallery so is easy to do together, this small art gallery has some really interesting exhibitions on at the moment. A highlight is Hardenvale - our Home in Absurdia is fascinating but leaving soon so try and get there before it leaves. They regularly change the exhibitions so is worth a visit every time you visit Wagga Wagga. The gift shop has some fabulous well priced items perfect for a souvenir of the town. Entry is free.

Not a lot to see, but was still very pleasant for what was on offer. There were a couple of interesting exhibitions while I was there, one on Oscar Wilde & another on asylum seekers. Also being an art gallery, it's free entry, and has air conditioning if it's particularly hot outside. Make a visit to the glass gallery nearby as well.

On my visit in July I was treated to the amazing work of some of last years NSW HSC Visual Arts student with a selection from the Art Express exhibition, including one from a local student. The thoughtfulness and insight that these students reveal give a clue as to why Visual Arts is one of the most important subjects in the modern curriculum.
There was also an incredible exhibition of Juju Roche’s latest work in “Unearth”. These awe-inspiring landscapes are both moving and uplifting.
