Very interesting place to visit. The host was very friendly and loves to talk about his experiences and his farm. He showed us his gear and also some old paintings.
There were a few llamas and alpacas. We learnt a lot about the differences between them. 2 miniature horses as well.
Do not expect a large lavender farm though. There were only a few lavender plants but the host showed us how he harvests the lavender and turns them into products.
A nice little store as well with lavender products. Overall, it a good filler activity on the way to Wagga Wagga

I have a bit of thing about alpacas and llamas so we detoured on our trip to Wagga to come past.
The lady who runs it is very friendly and it looks like it would have been a good place to stop a few years ago.
Unfortunately, it is pretty run down and they don't have many lavender plants as they have reduced what they have. (I may have been expecting too much to start with.)
The llamas are a bit hard to see although there were some miniature horses that were keen on being patted.
The little shop was very pleasant and had a whole range of lavender products.
The lady who runs it is very nice but I really can't recommend it unless you want to buy something from the lavender shop.

Absolutely loved it!
A beautiful view and some friendly hosts. 30+ llamas and alpacas, 2 miniature horses and a ostrich. Definitely worth the drive!

We have been stopping here for 3 years since happening on the farm shop en route to Canberra. Yes, the farm is a typical Australian set up. Lots of different animals and some interesting eclectic sculptures around. The shop is quaint and much of the produce is made from the home grown lavender and llama wool. If you want a fancy polished set up like Bridestowe, don’t visit, as you won’t find that here. Down to earth service and the lavender variety is very fragrant. Especially recommend the lavender body lotion.

there is nothing there everything is dead and the animal are in terrible condition. The lama's are all mattered and still have there winter coats from last year. There are no rose bushes or what lavender there is is dead. No signage and unkempt grounds and driveways. NO WAY THIS IS THIS A TOURIST ATTRACTION. DONT WASTE TIME OR PETROL TO GET THERE

Worth a stop at the Rustique Lavender Farm, great llamas, beautiful setting, awesome lavender products that we stocked up on since we were on the home stretch of our drive around Australia about a month ago. It’s a hobby farm run by some very friendly owners, lots of animals around to interact with and take deep breaths with all the lavender around.

Keep an eye out for the turnoff to the farm, there is a sign with the numbers 7979 so you can't miss it. Follow the dirt track (there are signs along the way) until you see a sign that says 'car park'. Don't be afraid of the llamas (yeah they sit right out front of the house). They don't seem too fussed by people! Shop is next to the house and Mr Bye and his son were lovely! Mr Bye is a great story teller and very knowledgeable! Products I have yet to try, but this place is worth a visit!

We would thoroughly recommend a visit to this wonderful farm. The hosts gave a very informative talk and walk through their lavender farm, with hands-on activities as well! And we loved their llamas and alpaca; so entertaining. They also had miniature horses and an ostrich. The owners are lovely, lovely people, with interesting stories to tell about themselves and their farm. Tip: their lavender cream for insect bites really works! Available in their gift shop. Keep it in the fridge if it's a warm day though.

This is the home of an old couple, and their hobby farm.
He and his daughter came out to greet us when we parked our car. We were shown around the rose and lavender garden, introduced to the flowers, and explained the differences between different types of lavender.
Second activity was to look at the alpacas and llama. They provided information about them, and let us fed them across the fence. The old man is a child at heart so he also perform silly activities with them.
Third activity was to look at a female emu. Again the emu was just across the fence, within touching distance.
For some reason, the old man decided to took out 2 second hand electric golf carts he bought, and allowed some other visitors to ride on them.
He then shown us collection of hardware tools he collected, mostly for farming.
They also have a shop in their converted garage, selling various lavender products.
The old man is a young boy at heart full of energy, kept us busy and entertained for well over an hour. We also got to touch the animals and the tools, for fun and photo. This is the most interesting place I found in this area. I am sure both adults and children would have a great time here.
