We visited on recommendation and had a wonderful surprise. Nursel the owner and her staff made us so welcome and provided the most wonderful fresh local food. The accommodation was comfortable, clean and in the most beautiful setting, surrounded by great walks and amazingly clear night skies. We hope to revisit in late autumn or spring to try seasonal dishes and enjoy a greener environment.

Wonderful discovery

We discovered the only organic farm/restaurant in North Cyprus after visiting the historic sites of Vouni and Soli. The combination of the 3 places makes an excellent day out from Girne, or the farm on its own could be an excellent place to stop if taking the Limitis crossing between North and South Cyprus. It is a mile or so off the main road, but the access road is new and very easy.
The site is spectacular, high in the hills with views in every direction.
The restaurant closes in the hot summer months, and we actually arrived before it re-opened. No problem. The owner and the kind English waitress laid on a feast for us. We ate the best meze of our holiday, followed by a main course, and for desert had figs plucked from a tree right in front of us. Wonderful experience.

lovely setting

Travelling back to the South of Cyprus from Kyrenia via the Limnitis crossing we came across an very unusual farm/resturant/accomodation for Cyprus. Organic produce. Whilst not everything they provide is organic all fruit /veg/eggs are. Very uncommercial and in a remote mountainous area with spectacular views its an opportunity to take a break from your travels enjoy a coffeee or meal and follow the footpath around the farm to see it all for yourself.
There are 3 rooms available whilst we didn't stay they appeared immaculate all with ensuite (no aircon as power supply is solar only)
Just 5 minutes from the border crossing on the Turkish side
