It is an easy walk from the cruise port to the Old Town which is quite compact and easily navigated. The Old Town walls are visible from the port, just follow the road keeping the sea to your right and it should take around twenty minutes at a relaxed pace. The tourist information centre is really good and staff speak English plus easy to follow maps are available.

It a very good idea to do the walking tour. The Tourist office is just off the square, so easy to find and lots of informative leaflets, The hop on hop off bus operates only at the weekend currently and brings you further afield. Enjoy Tallinn.

Very good pricing. We travelled from Finland via boat and found some prices to be 50% less than in Finland. Boat was full of shoppers coming back with many full shopping bags.

One draft beer from 5 euro and the food depends, you can have a 2 course dinner from 20 Euro and up. Tjere are restaurants for all budgets and the food is ok everywhere The most expensive is restaurant Ö which is 100 meter outside the old town if you are looking for something very special in 5 or seven course dinner

I'm sorry to be sooo late in my reply. I have been incredibly busy and only now logged back into TA. I really wish they'd send an email when people ask questions about posts. We were only in Tallinn one day.

The old town is very easy to do on your own - there are two hop on hop off buses around the wider area.The seaplane harbour, with an old submarine you can go into is fun, but mostly Tallinn was a great place to just be with lots of places to eat and drink
