My husband and I did the 7 day Mundabiddi cycle from Walpole to Manjamup. The guides Scott and Wanda were absolutely brilliant, working tirelessly to cater for our needs and ensure the efficient running of the tour. They had great bike skills, providing tips along the way, extensive knowledge of the history of the area, great cooking skills and most importantly a great sense of humor and tolerance for the different needs of the group. We have been on many tours and Scott and Wanda are the best guides we have ever had. We enjoyed it so much we have signed up for two more trips with Inspiration Outdoors next year.

The Cape to Cape Walk in WA was amazing. Our two guides were experienced in completing that particular walk and were able to give us information about the flora, fauna, topography, and history of the areas that we were walking through. They were very friendly and happy to help in way required. The food supplied was plentiful, healthy and delicious. We were very happy with the accommodation, which had everything that we needed and more. The scenery was so spectacular and there was an incredible diversity of environments that we walked through. I would highly recommend this walk to anyone, but you do need to be fit!

Reflecting on my two back to back Tassie walking trips - East Coast, then Bruny Island and the South Coast - I lament that a troublesome knee throughout, followed in the second week by laryngitis that morphed into super sinusitis slowed me down. However, it certainly didn't obliterate the magical scenery and the enjoyment of being in a group of like-minded people, enjoying and exploring parts of Tasmania at walking pace.
Firstly, a big call out to Jo, the IO* guide extraordinaire, who encouraged and accompanied me to ensure I was able to participate and enjoy the experience. Jo was assisted by Deb in the second week. (*I didn't expect my IO guide to be wearing Intrepid travel gear. I was unaware of management changes).
Week one saw us take in the delights of Wine Glass Bay after a drive from Launceston. Such a shame the sun waited until the afternoon to shine brightly. The afternoon colours were fabulous. The next day it was on a ferry and off to Maria Island with its history and scenery, wombats and Cape Barren Geese. On Wednesday walking gave way to fast boats as we donned our red cloaks and checked out the geology of the south east corner of Tasmania, in amongst whale watching and seeing birds and seals and other creatures up close. A short time in Port Arthur concluded that day for me.
Finally, it was walks to the capes, in our case Cape Raoul one day, Cape Huay the next - with all those steps! Both were spectacular.
And so to Hobart for a short refresh before starting the second tour. The group of eight of us in the first week was a lot of fun. Quite a change to being a group of three, with two guides, in week two. Nevertheless, we enjoyed each other's company.
Our first day on the road was a car ferry ride to Bruny Island, with a visit to the isthmus, the narrow strip of land joining north and south parts of the island. After many steps to the lookout, it was back to begin the Queen Elizabeth track. While we only made it to the impressive natural rock arch on the beach, it was a glorious day looking at stunning beach scenes. The following day I had time out but still enjoyed the local surrounds at Adventure Bay. Then it was time for onwards and upwards to check out Fluted Cape and its amazing rock formations.
The following day we drove to literally the most southern car park in Australia to walk across to the south coast, a very muddy track after overnight rain. In contrast, the final walk was towards a snow capped Hartz Peak, with a lot of snow around in this beautiful but fragile alpine area. We only made it to Ladies Tarn, but such a different and special environment.
Both walks provide interesting, attractive and varied scenery with the added advantage of wonderful wildflowers and close up fauna. The echidnas were busy and Bruny Island really does have white wallabies!
The accommodation was always clean and comfortable, included meals at nearby eateries generous.
Two weeks of special memories.

Well organized trip to Victorian High Country. Our guides, Dan and Cammie were professional and worked hard to ensure our trip was well planned and memorable for the whole group, with fun along the way. Oustanding meals cooked by Cammie. Single supplement was a little disappointing in terms of bathroom, but more than made up for it with close proximity to lovely private dining / kitchen / lounge area we used. Walks well chosen with good pre-trip notes on how fit / training required before went. Thank you!

Some stunning scenery and flora on the beautiful south coast of Western Australia. Some tough hill walks (but the views from the top are worth it), and some longer walks which weren't so demanding. Travelled with a great group of people and fantastic guides. Food and accommodation was first class.

Just completed the 7 day Cape Le Grand and Fitzgerald River NPs and was truly amazed by the difference in the 2 National Parks. Each had their own unique wildflowers and rock formations. The walking was challenging at times and good hiking boots essential but all trails were doable. Frenchman’s Peak does look a bit daunting and requires a confident attitude. A little group of us opted out and waited at the base and watched the adventurous summit. Our very experienced guides Sarah and Peter were knowledgeable about the areas and were always available, calm and great fun to be around. How they managed to whip up delicious meals every night after the walks is a mystery. There was plenty of fresh healthy food and snacks. The mixed group of 9 were all friendly and supportive of each other. As always I’d have liked the trip be longer, so much to see. One other thing, take a flynet.
