This is a very peaceful zen-type stop. When chaos is going on around you, there's something quite relaxing about just sitting and being and petting a cat. You can book for as little as 15 minutes. Even my son was okay with it who wasn't eager to go. But he played on his phone with one hand and petted a cat with the other.
Definitely recommended.

This place is so cute and their mission is great! They are trying to get these cats adopted to good homes so the cats I got to play with may not be the ones you see but that's a good thing because it means they got adopted to a good home!
Pro tip: buy treats! ( And bring cash).
A bag of treats costs a dollar and they totally know the sound of that treat bag and suddenly every cat will be your best friend. Even--especially-- the ones that were ignoring you five seconds ago. Also, break your treats in half so you can spread the love more and they won't get too overfed.

This was a really unique experience, and so lovely to think that going here helps to save the beautiful kitties that they are looking after. Everything is so bright and airy, and the cats are clearly in kitty heaven as they get so much attention and love from all the visitors and staff. A short visit, but every moment will live with you! Be aware that it is not totally obvious where it is from the roadside if you are ubering up there.

It's nearly impossible to express our experience at Crumbs & Whiskers, but here's a try.
I can't imagine a place more relaxing and therapeutic as the kitten lounge. The cute, adorable, playful kittens are bound to make you put all of your worries aside and make you forget the world around you exists - I almost forgot my boyfriend exists, and he was right there next to me!
Special shout out to the manager in-charge of the DC cat cafe and kitten lounge, Miranda! I later came to know how helpful Miranda had been in accommodating our last minute booking, and squeeze in an extra session for my boyfriend to surprise me with. Not only that, Miranda made her way to the kitten lounge after wrapping up her day at the cat cafe to meet us. Miranda - if you are reading this, it was a pleasure meeting you and THANK YOU for making our experience at the kitten lounge one to remember!
I have yet to meet another team of such dedicated, kind, and caring professionals who go above and beyond to make our furry friends feel so loved, and at home.
C&W team - a huge THANK YOU for all that you do in saving our furry friends from euthanasia, sheltering them, and helping them find their forever home.

We visited the kitten cafe and it was lovely, really good value and great to see the care that is taken with the kittens. They were all up for adoption and if I didn't live in the UK, I would have ended up with more cats. Would definitely go back if I'm ever over again.

A very cute cat cafe located in the heart of the Georgetown area. For a fixed price you will get a stick and the opportunity to enjoy a room full of all kinds of cats. The cats are very friendly and generally used to humans and are plentiful in number - there is a variety of seating and toys available to play with them. For a higher price you can also enjoy snacks/drinks but these are a bit expensive for what you're getting. While it may seem a bit highly priced per minute it nonetheless is a really cool concept and such a delightful experience - well worth it!

Mrs and Miss Davieland spent 70 minutes here when I visited Arlington National Cemetery. They throughly enjoyed it and loved playing with the cats. It is a great way to try and rehouse cats to new homes.

My wife and I celebrated our 28th wedding anniversary with lunch in Georgetown and a visit to Crumbs & Whiskers Cat Cafe. It is a cat and kitten rescue in a Georgetown townhouse.
We scheduled a 70 minute session for a donation of about $20 per person. We arrived for our appointment and was greeted by a staff member who went over what happens inside and some rules (like don't pick up the cats as some may have just been spayed or neutered).
We went inside and were greeted by about 20 cats, roaming around the first and second floor. We sat on cushions and let the cats climb all over us. We pet and played with them, and generally gave them as much cuddles as we could. It is great therapy! There were several we could have taken home, but it would not work out well at home with our two cats Lennon and McCartney. The staff was wonderful, professional, friendly, and informative. The facility was clean and comfortable.
This is a great place for couple or families with children 10 or older. I recommend visiting and making a donation, and adopt if you can.

This was one of the best experiences of my life!! Such a gorgeous and calming atmosphere, the workers were so friendly and helpful, and the cats made my heart melt. I’ll be back in a few days!!

This is a definite go to in Washington!!!! The kitties were awesome and the staff were professional, helpful and very personable! This is a wonderful business! I wish I had known about it sooner!
