An oil massage is perhaps lighter and more soothing, a relaxing massage. A Thai massage is quite different, it works your muscles very deeply. You should let your therapist know what areas you want soft, medium, or hard massage on for a Thai massage. Hard will be very hard!! They will also combine stretch and muscles massaging. If you have not had a Thai massage before, do it!! Wonderful! Just let them know what strength you want and you can adjust that as she massages you too. Do not get a one hour massage...go for two hours. Why rush a good thing. I also highly recommend a one hour body scrub followed by a one hour oil massage.
