amazing, couldn’t recommend this experience more !

had an amazing time today! i did the morning cooking class and Wass was our teacher. she was so funny and extremely clear when explaining the methods and talking us through the different ingredients. all the ingredients are grown organically on their farm or bought from the local market which is a great touch. i loved how Wass talked us through how we could tailor the recipes to the ingredients that are available in our own country. she was very kind and encouraging. there was lots of recipe choice and so much food to eat once we’d cooked it. this class exceeded my expectations and is the highlight of my trip so far.

Thai Food demystified!

This half day cooking class was the highlight of our visit to Chiang Mai. Khun Joy was our instructor and she was a fabulous teacher. She has some great expressions to entertain as well as control the crowd! She was masterful! We joined 4 other couples and learned about the organic farm, as well as fabulous techniques for preparing our favorite Thai dishes. We have fabulous memories and a delightful cookbook to bring home!

Fun cooking experience with teenagers!

What a fun morning, not only was the food amazing, new skills were learned even by seasoned cooks. Our teenage boys loved it too.
Garnet was an engaging, informative and hilarious hostess. Her enthusiasm was contagious and her ability to bring a diverse group of travellers together was impressive.
A wonderful way to learn Thai cooking!

Incredible experience. Joy was the BEST. We all had so much fun and learned a lot about Thai food and culture. We would do it again in a heartbeat. They were easy to communicate with to book and pick up was a breeze. I really can't say enough lovely things about Joy. TEAM JOY

Super cours de cuisine à Chiang Mai

Super expérience! Nous avons eu beaucoup de plaisir à apprendre à cuisiner plusieurs plats typiques. Le cours se déroule dans une ferme, ce qui donne un côté très sympathique. Mais le plus gros point positif est sans doute Garnet, l'animatrice, qui est adorable et pleine d'énergie.

Excellent Learning Journey

My family and I had a great experience. Fah (meaning sky) was our instructor. She was humourous, positive, confident and professional. She shared interesting and critical information with us, from the local produce at the local wet market, to the herbs and plants and how to grow them at the organic farm, and later the meticulous and methodical step by step guidance, ensured we not only learnt to cook delicious dishes, but also about the ingredients, their benefits and how to identify, select, and make full use of them. We especially enjoyed the making of our own curry powder, along with all the steps for our soup, curry, main dish and desert. This is an unforgettable experience enriched by making of new friends from other countries. A must do for anyone looking for a really down to earth but entertaining experience.

We've done 4 cooking classes in Thailand and this has been the favourite. Garnet was a wonderful teacher and offered many useful tips and tricks beyond what we found in other classes. The pickup process was efficient. The menu was delicious. (Khao Soi was my favourite and this northern specialty was not offered at many other schools.). It was also special to be able to walk around the farm and see how things grow. Highly recommend the full day class. Arrive hungry.

With a small group of 7 people we cooked 6 different amazing thai meals, also we learned more about ingredients at the local market and the organic farm. A special thanks to Joy for guiding us with every step!

Amazing experience

My husband and I took a half day evening cooking class with Thai Farm Cooking School and we had the best time learning how to make different Thai dishes. The farm is a very lovely place, the class is very good and our instructor, Wass, was absolutely amazing, really nice and funny. One of the best experiences we had in Thailand and would definitely recommend.
