Our host Anne was knowledgeable and a ton of fun. She is an experienced teacher who brought joy to the table and wok. She covered so much, from basics through to subtleties of flavors.
We met at a market then drove out to her farm and school. A beautiful property, and well set up for teaching, cooking, eating and socializing!

We really enjoyed the cooking class! As a couple with one person who cooks a lot and one who never cooks we both found the experience enjoyable! The food we made was delicious and we really enjoyed eating our dishes. The instructor, Aoy, was very helpful and provided lots of useful tips/instructions without making the process too overwhelming. The actual location of the cooking school is beautiful too so overall it’s a great activity to do whilst in Chiang Mai!

Went for the morning class, started off at the market where all the ingredients were shown to us. We then went to a lovely outdoor kitchen were we cooked all the food. Aoy was our teacher and she was so informative and enthusiastic about her cuisine. She was also really helpful with any questions that we had.
To top it off we all received a detailed recipe book so we wouldn’t forget how to make the dishes.

This was a highlight for my friend Donna and myself! We enjoyed everything from the market( deciding on our meal to shopping for food).
Then we relocated to our cooking area which was absolutely beautiful… our teacher..Ayo- was simply the best! We learned all about herbs and flavorings… just a great experience overall…

Aoy is a good instructor. She is so nice and humorous. The place where we cooked is so nice and all of foods were perfect.

This cooking class was AMAZING!! So fun and would highly recommend to anyone thinking about it. We had Rainy and she was so so fun and energetic, made the day so fun. Must do if in Chiang Mai, thank you!

Vandaag de morning groep kookles gevolgd. Het was echt geweldig!! Een super leuke vrolijke vrouw begeleide ons de hele ochtend en heeft ons geholpen heerlijke gerechten op tafel te zetten.
Tip! Het is heel veel eten, als je het niet op krijgt kan je het mee nemen en later lekker op eten.

We had the best day at Zebb E Lee! This is a must do for all people travelling through Chiang Mai. Great value for money with all of the food you cook and eat, and the venue itself is stunning. Farlin was amazing as our host and really made the day for everyone. Would definitely go again!

We had the most amazing time at the cooking school. Our instructor Rainy totally made the experience for us and all of the food was amazing! Couldn’t recommend it enough

Najlepszy możliwy wybór!
Przygotowalismy 5 różnych dań (plus curry paste), z czego każdy mógł wybrać (spośród 3 dostępnych opcji) co chce ugotować. Wszystko było przepyszne. Na koniec dostaliśmy książeczki z przepisami.
Najpierw standardowo wizyta na lokalnym markecie, a później lekcja. Lekcja odbywała się za miastem, na przepięknym zielonym terenie. Dokladnie - moja grupa gotowała w ogrodzie:)
Naszą nauczycielką była Farlin, która świetnie poprowadziła lekcje. Przemiła, zabawna dziewczyna z pasją do gotowania i podejściem do ludzi. BARDZO POLECAM!!

Not really using sweet chilli but you could choose 5 courses from about 15 options so there were differing levels of heat. The food was good! I’ve used the cookbook since we got home.

My family and I are interested in taking the Zabb Lee cooking class you reviewed. I am trying to work out how to register online. Where did you find it? What was the cost and was it full day or a half day adventure.

You just call up - if you google it I’m sure the number will come up:) I think it was 1000 baht and I’d recommend the afternoon course because it can be your lunch and dinner as well - thanks!!

They won't offer you a vegan cooking class but as you cook your own dishes you can easily leave eggs and meat out of your wok and you'll be fine.
I am sure they can adapt the dishes to a vegan version.

All the kitchens are set up in an open area outside. But there’s covered with A/C units. Imagine you are cooking in your backyard with A/C units blowing. It was hot but not too bad considering we were out in the open area.
