Unfortunately, it has shut down and was not on reported on their website. Wasted efforts travelling there and searching for it. Even next door hotel had no idea they closed shop!!

Hello, Vivien, and thank you for looking for us but I apologize for all your wasted time and energy in your search.
As the owner/operator, I recently underwent unexpected open heart surgery and am recuperating, which will take some time. I needed to close the store with little advance notice. When I am convalesced and have the strength to run the business again, we will find a new location.
Again, please accept my apologies.

ce lieu mysterieux m'a appelé..et j'ai été ravie! que de belles choses!! des collections raffinées et originalles... des pièces uniques du monde entier et des d tissage thai revisité.. Lance se fera un plaisir de vous expliquer l'histoire de chaque pièce! C'est un homme charmant!

Nous nous promenions dans ce quartier par curiosité et goût pour l'Art Moderne et les objets de grande qualité. Passant devant la porte de ce lieu, quelque peu isolé des sentiers classiques, notre oeil a été attiré (alors que nous étions a 20m de là) par trois choses:
une collection de sacs réalisés -nous l'apprendrons en entrant- par une architecte de formation.
des tissus aux couleurs chatoyantes et aux motifs tout à fait artistique.
une ambiance pour le moins chaleureuse, accueillante, élégante et raffinée.
Nous avons fait la rencontre de Lance, l'un des deux associés. Il a tout de suite entendu notre démarche (nous souhaitons nous même entreprendre la rencontre d'artisans et d'artistes pour promouvoir leur savoir faire). La collection d'artisanat dont il dispose, sans être en très grand nombre, se distingue par sa grande qualité et l'histoire que recèle chaque objet. Derrière chacun, un artiste dont Lance peut narrer l'origine et le savoir faire. Vous trouverez évidemment des soieries, cotons, bijoux et autres trésors de Nord Thaïlande, mais également du mobilier en bambou. Il est egalement possible d effectuer des commandes personnalisés. Ce mobilier est sans doute ce qui m a le plus touché avec les soieries.
De plus, au cours de leurs voyages, ces deux compères ont chinés des artefacts de part le monde: Inde, Afrique, Amerique Centrale, Etats Unis, etc...
C est en tout cas un lieu de magnifiques rencontres humaines, Lance saura vous orienter sur Chiang Mai et ses environs, et saura etre à l ecoute de vos envies et besoins.
A visiter, pour les multiples rencontres à réaliser

The scarf designs I was keen to see more than lived up to expectations. The colour and quality of design and the fabric was wonderful. And if you are looking for locally made Thai silk or cotton products they also are exceptional. Lance has recently introduced a very interesting high quality line of bamboo furniture...and there is more...jewellery, bags...
Definitely worth a visit for those interseted in quality products. And Lance himself is great to meet...enthusiastic, knowledgeable and ready to share.

We read tripadvisor reviews about this place and wanted to see it, although it was kind of far from our guesthouse. Like in the whole area, the house is hip and well maintained. The vibe is relaxed and contemplative, "Moon River" was playing in the store where we walked in. Beautiful oasis of bits and pieces of art, design, talent and they all come with a story. The owner is such a warm person, we talked for about 30 minutes, he showed us some very interesting pieces based upon our particular interest, but never pressured us into buying anything. We discussed about our heritage, family and life decisions, with the easiness that you feel when you are talking to a close friend.
The store products are varied but not overwhelming and you could find a lot of presents for your loved ones there. The quality is far superior from anything you would find on the street, not to mention the design aspect of it. We bought a tablet case that I will most surely double as a clutch, as a reminder of a beautiful and warm experience in Chiang Mai. Go if you want more than elephant pants and same same but different.

after all the fantastic reviews i was excited to visit COSMOS.
the shop has great merchandise - bags & small leather goods, some scarfs, some glassware and jewellery but it is so much smaller than i've expected. nice shoo but it didn't have that WOW feeling for me!

We loved the store. The owners are wonderful, creative, and fun. We purchased a large piece of art and Howard arranged the air shipment and protective crate, which arrived safely to Florida. The scarves and flower arrangements are spectacular. It is not easy to find, we discovered that when"Soi" is part of an address, it is a side street of the street name. We are so glad that we visited the store. Lots of fun.

Cuando estamos de vacaciones siempre tenemos en mente " que compraremos para regalos " casi seguro que dicho lugar sea la solucion ya que hay detalles y cosas a mas la persona que esta al frente del negocio es muy competente con los visitantes al lugar

We popped in to Cosmos earlier today and met Lance, who is a wonderful man with a super interesting array of items on sale in his shop, many of which have a fascinating story behind them. Cosmos is tucked away down a little street, but is well worth the visit. We'll be back!! Iain & Jennifer from the UK.
