- Located on Hoa Hong Street (the road running along Tuyen Lam Lake to the Tunnel of Clay) in Ward 4, Dalat City, about 10 km from the center (relatively far away).
- Entrance fee to this place 50,000 VND / person, parking fee 5,000 VND / motorbike. There is a security guard on duty at the gate, he works quite principles, no smile and is not friendly.
- From the gate, you will walk more than 200m along a slope to the lavender garden. On the way you will see the white houses with the trendy architecture of Dalat Wonder Resort next door.
- The garden below planted 2-3 types of Lavender (I guess so), but it is quite disappointing that the flower on one side of the garden has not bloomed (newly planted), the other side has only budding. Far different from the advertising images.
- We go up and go to the restop area (which is also a place to sell drinks and products related to lavender). Sipping a cool drink at midday in the sun and watching the surroundings is probably the experience of "salvage" the emotions today: I thought. However, maybe I hope quite a lot, me and my girlfriend sat at the table waiting for more than 15 minutes but still no staff came to ask or support, until I walked into the counter to look for someone who can help me with order. You know what? The staff members were chatting, and a few others were on the phone. Oh they have no business needs and customers are not gods.
- If you are sure to come to the right time to bloom to take some pictures or "hunt" moments, take time to come here. I personally feel that the 50,000 VND fare for the experience is very bad, nothing special inside, really not worth it. Definitely not recommended this place.

We actually walked round the lake to get here, about 7 kms, but were very disappointed as there was an entrance fee at the gate house where the lady informed us that the flowers were not in bloom yet.So it was a wasted trip. Please make sure if the flowers are in season if this is the reason for your visit.

This is really good place to visit at Dalat. We used google map to go to this garden. Amazing views of lavender with lake and moutain. The weather is also good. The admission fee is 40VND per person. There are cozy cafe inside of the garden. Coffee also tasty and the beautiful views from here that made this nice place.

This is a truly wonderful place to spend some time whilst in Dalat. The sights and smells on the walk around the garden is amazing. The lake surrounded by the accompanying pine forest is breathtaking. The cafe is beautifully designed with an amazing view.
We were here in November whilst the lavender was blooming but it would have been worth the trip even without it.
It costs 50k to get into the garden.

Mostly Private tour arrange this spot.
The counter don't speak English, she just show us the english writen note 50k entrance fees, 150k with golf car transfer.
Enjoy walking around and nice scenery for photo under the sun. Able to walk until the Tu Lam lake
Many local go for pre-wedding photo.

went is Dalat lavender season some say Feb some say May/June can someone confirm went is the actual lavender boom .....thanks in advance

Hi,
I am not sure is Lavender is still bloom, but in Jan - Feb, the flower blooming in Dalat is Cherry (Sakura). Please search the website using the keywords -dalat-cherry-blossom-season
or da-lat-during-flower-season in Jan.

Hi, Camper,
The lavender garden is nice indeed. But i am not sure it is still bloom in Dec. Need entrance ticket which don't want you to dissapoint too. I am pretty sure the Hydrangea is bloom. If you are rental car with driver, check again with the operater/staff or ask them to check for you.
