Amazing day around Da Lat. We’re seen flower farm, coffee garden, pepper harvest, silk production and cricket farm. In addition beautiful nature, waterfalls, temples. All this with very friendly guides

We booked a private day tour with Thao to go see coffee plantations, waterfalls, a cricket farm and more in Da Lat and we had the best day! He’s such a wonderful guide! Very honest and real, and you can tell that he only wishes the best for his tourists.
He gave us student discount and always made sure we got a fair price wherever we went.
He also speaks fluent English so we learned a lot about Vietnam on the tour. The next day him and the driver took us to Mui Ne and also booked tickets to Saigon for us.
We will definitely recommend him if you’re going to Da Lat! We’d give him 10 stars if possible

Ich kann eine Tour mit Paddy wirklich wärmstens empfehlen. Er ist ein unfassbar freundlicher Mensch - entgegenkommend, verständnisvoll und hilfsbereit.
Ich habe erst eine Halbtagestour gebucht, diese dann auf einen ganzen Tag ausgeweitet und letztlich noch eine 2-Tagestour drangehängt.
Ich habe mich bei ihm hinten auf dem Moped jederzeit sicher gefühlt. Wir hatten extreme Windverhältnisse und eine Situation, in der uns ein Wildschein vor‘s Bike gerast ist und Paddy hat jede Situation sehr entspannt gemeistert.
Er ist immer auf meine Bedürfnisse eingegangen und hatte viel Freude daran die Tour für mich so zu konzipieren, dass sie mir Freude macht. Dabei hat er immer neu geschaut, was mich interessieren könnte und worauf ich wert lege, ist aber gleichzeitig jederzeit authentisch geblieben. Das besondere war dadurch das ich jederzeit das Gefühl hatte keine Standart-Touri-Tour, oder soft-selling-Tour, sondern eine wirklich individuelle Tour zu erleben, die durch die gemeinsamen Gespräche step by step entstand.
Ich danke dir sehr Paddy und freue mich, wenn wir nochmal zusammen unterwegs sein können…

I booked a half day tour with Paddy and it was so good that we finally continued the trip until the evening and then I asked him for another tour the day after! Paddy is not only an enjoyable safe rider, he's also a reliable, honest and passionate person. He loves his country and can show you the best spots in the region and beyond. He's also good in listening to his clients needs (which is rare) trying to make his very best to make them happy. I miss him already!

I was very lucky to have found Paddy and to have the opportunity to spend a day in his company. He and his driver Thanh are both excellent in their work, very committed, sincere and 200% trustworthy. Paddy committed to a few places (all hidden gems in Dalat) because by then I had covered the more 'well known' places and was really looking for ways to spend the one extra day I had.. I couldn't advance my flights to the next city and it felt as though I had nothing much left to do in Dalat. Paddy offered to show me a few places, and I decided to go with his advice.
From the start, there were surprises and they were all positive and pleasant. For instance, at the very beginning he took me to a Temple Tye Pagoda which happened to be just a kilometer straight walk from my hotel and I had not heard about until then. It turned out to be the amongst the most charming and serene of the temples I had the chance to visit. And there, he recommended a soya soup from an elderly lady with jaggery and ginger which in the cloudy cold weather tasted divine. We went to a few other lovely sites, all hand picked by Paddy after understanding my likes and dislikes. Every where he was giving me genuine advice what to see and do and what to avoid. He is not one of those who will recommend a place from a commercial interest, I could completely trust him.
Paddy took me to an amazing vegan restaurant which served delicious and homely Vietnamese authentic cuisine at half the price in any other vegan restaurant I had eaten before.
He has a lot of knowledge and history about the events in Vietnam, has over twenty five years experience as guide and it was enriching to hear him share and to learn about life in the past. He is very articulate and communicates well in English. His driver Thanh is a very good driver and very thorough gentleman just as Paddy is. Together they make a great pair. As a female tourist travelling solo, I felt completely safe in their company. At the end of a day which was supposed to be an extra day with nothing much to do, I realized how well spent it was thanks to Paddy. He is also very reasonable in cost.
If you have a couple of days in Dalat, I would recommend Paddy without any hesitation. With his credentials, he is likely to be a very busy man, hence my advice would be to book early. I would definitely plan to spend more days with Paddy when I visit Dalat next.

This tour was by far the most interesting day we had in Vietnam! Paddy and Quinn took us onto the backs of their bikes and into the countryside around Da Lat. They avoided "tourist traps" and bus frequented photo stops and restaurants. Instead we stopped at local markets in small towns, visited a family-owned flower farm, a cricket farm, a rice wine brewery, two less visited waterfalls and two pagodas.
Both drivers drove safely and defensively and spoke excellent English. They were very knowledgeable about the area and eager to explain Vietnamese culture and everyday life. Highlight was lunch with a local family - the lovely couple had cooked a delicious meal and even showed us their home they are just building. What a great experience - we highly recommend Paddy to everyone!

We had a wonderful daytour around Dalat to three different waterfalls a few beautiful temples and a lot of other nice visits.
The tour was especially nice due to the very enthousiastic and easy going tourguide Thao Do. During the day he also told us about a lot of things in de daily life of local Vietnamese people. Very personal en people oriented.
Beside Thao they had also a very capable driver with a very comfortable 4x4.
Also the price of this private tour was very acceptable not to say inexpensive especially for the personal experience and also a lot less than a lot of other tours offered.
The tour was especially nice due to the very enthousiastic and easy going tourguide Thao Do. During the day he also told us about a lot of things in de daily life of local Vietnamese people. Very personal en people oriented.
Beside Thao they had also a very capable driver with a very comfortable 4x4.

Such a lovely day with your guide Paddy and Quinn, on the back of the scooters. Tour guides had extensive knowledge of historical sites and brought us for dinner which suited our vegetarian needs. Very friendly atmosphere and would highly recommend!

Having experienced many tours on a month long trip from the North to South of Vietnam I can truly say that this was the best tour we took. Our experience of Dalat would have been much poorer if it were not for having gone on this tour. Paddy came to our hotel to talk to us about what we'd like to do the next day which was much appreciated. We took a comprehensive day tour of Dalat which meant we got to see the local life, the well known, and lesser known sights. Paddy was a knowledgeable, affable guide who we enjoyed talking to about a variety of subjects. One of the absolute highlights was meeting Paddy's family. We were invited to their home for lunch, cultural exchange, and some fantastic homegrown coffee. The meal was delicious and the company was superb. If you're in Vietnam I thoroughly recommend seeking out Paddy Tours.
