If you would like to see Vietnamese in your houses and fields to enjoy a tasty meal you have contributed to this is the tour to look for. We were 5 friends who booked this tour and thought it was excellent. And David was very helpful and flexible to accommodate our requests. Strongly recommended - an Eco tour different to other tourist experiences

Great day out, nice to have a break from the tourist side of Hanoi. Tour guide had great knowledge of the area and the history of vitenam english very good, we really enjoyed the farming wonderful experiance

Wir wollten aus dem quirrligen Hanoi einen Tag aufs Land. Einmal in Ruhe mit lokalen Menschen zusammen kommen. Das ist David mit dem Culture Farm Trip gelungen. Er holt einen morgens gegen 8 Uhr ab und bringt einen gegen 16 Uhr wieder zum Hotel. Dazwischen Marktbesuch, Gastfamilie kennenlernen, Reispflanzung und zwischen den Feldern spazieren gehen. Viel fragen und viel erfahren. Genau die richtige Mischung. Dazu noch ein leckeres Lunch mittags. Und zum Schluß noch eine Pilzfarm besucht. David hat uns in fliessendem Englisch viel über Land und Leute nähergebracht. Sehr empfehlenwert!

Excellent tour, David has a great knowledge of Vietnamese agriculture and rural life, he is very friendly and helpful. Lunch with local family was top notch

Duong Lam is a really genuine slice of Vietnam and not one of the common tourist spots around Hanoi.
We had a really lovely day exploring the ancient village with our fantastic guide, Kia. He was very knowledgeable and patient with all our questions.
We wondered through the streets, sat and drank tea with local children wanting to practice their English with us, ate a fabulous local lunch and road bikes through countryside.
Thank you Eco Tours for a really fabulous day.

David and Hanoi Eco Tour provided an excellent Farm Tour Day that covered a town, farm, bicycle riding, lunch, going to schools and local market, planting rice. The day was fantastic and our group reckon the day was the best day they had. David covered off plenty of additional requests we had like providing gifts to local schools and assist an elderly resident. For any personalised trip of your own and using Davids wealth of knowledge of Vietnam you can't go by without trying David and Hanoi Eco Tours.

The day trip to this village was one of the highlights of our stay. David was a wonderful guide taking us to a town where we were among the very few Western tourists, but also taking us to see things that were off the beaten track.
We felt that we had an authentic experience with David and not just a touristy one. We visited a small family-run home where they made crackers and also had lunch at an amazing old traditional home.
If we had known about David and his business Hanoi Eco Tour beforehand, we would have booked other excursions with him. He speaks excellent English, is very knowledgeable and kind and personable.

David helped us (3 adult Americans) for a 2-day tour of Hanoi and Ninh Binh, and we could not have asked for a better guide. He is knowledgeable, communicative, patient, and flexible. We peppered him with questions and some last-minute changes and he rolled with it like a pro. And, of course, his English was flawless. Excellent trip overall.
